see posts below.. seems it was my own fail that i got banned.

3)If so, when was the last time?: Bot was last used 26th Dec

4)What profile were you using?: randomBuddy

5)What combat class were you using? Singular

6)What plugins are you using?: randomBuddy, Gatherdismount, Minify, MRBlacklister, NoBotHere

7)How many hours per day did you bot for?: 3 Hours

8)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? ~ 100%

9)How many auctions per day did you have?: 0

10)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? No

11)Was your account involved in gold selling? No

12)EU or US realm? EU

13)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account? Normal paid account.


well just returned to HB yesterday, made a new fresh VMware, fresh ***, fresh wow install, fresh hb install, plugins etc.

tryed out the bot 3 hours (10 minet zone change) and just got nearly instant banned.

whats up with the bot?

used it 8 months ago for over 3 months 24/7 on 4 different bots without any bann.

 

well it's hard to believe that you had 4 bots 24/7 for 3 months without a ban, but if so you were the luckiest HB user of all time.

in any case, nowdays GB2 gets a ban 99% guaranteed. it should take more than 3 hours though.

 

Maybe an 8 months ban delay ?

nah, that was the normal basic all my friends were botting 24/7 no bans so far or maybe 1 account each month, but not that fast like me today.

and well since wotlk Honorbuddy was useable nearly 24/7 without that u have to care that much for banns. got like 40-50 bot accs and maybe 10 banns since wotlk (after those big bannwave where honorbuddy unupdated was detected)

all the banns i saw were user mistakes, maybe this time i did something wrong - maybe some plugin missed or some plugin/singular(i dont think its singular, there would be a lot more banns than) detectet.. gonna try it out.

so i wonder what happend, behaivor detection?

If you tried "fresh" V P N or Pr0xy - cant see what the forum censored, its no doubt you got autobanned so fast. Its common case, if your "fresh" ip is already blacklisted by Bliz

 

well ur right, maybe blizzard changed that.

but if those blacklisted ips exsist, not since long.

in the past blizzard just banned accs, not ips.

and even if u used an ip with 10 accs banned, it was relativly save to bot.

but well, i was inactive botting to long maybe this changed.

gonna try it out with 3 new ips which are never used before tonight.

I wonder if people who are using V.P. Ns and such could claim they were just trying to avoid detection by the NSA, what with the recent revelation that the NSA is spying on WoW gamers.

 

NSA is not really related to botting at all, since 80% off the botters here are not US geo located, most of them are in Eu and Asia, even those who bot on US servers

 

my 3 new accs running 24/7 seems fine till now, will report when they are banned.

 

I've actually noticed that Blizzard somehow detecting if you use V*P*Ns and checks these accounts in first place.

I had account that farmed over 700k, botted since minute 1 and was actually alive. But after I configured it to connect thought p*r*o*x*y, it was banned within 24 hours. My appeals were answered very fast and they strongly refused to unlock my account (so they were damn sure about the decision).

Been using strong*** for over a year. Dynamically changed IP address, which means I get DC every 24hrs, due to the *** auto ip refreshing. Always been running my bot on different things other than GB2. farming for transmog, ach etc. and no problem.

Using a *** is not a big issue, the history of your activities may be a deciding factor, rather than the use of ***.

Perhaps Blizzard see the use of *** as a factor in the unbanning decision. If you show intent to hide what you're doing, you've already acknowledged you shouldn't be doing it and therefore they have no sympathy?

Also wouldn't surprise me if there are blacklisted ***** servers which they have on auto-flag due to the number of banned botters on the same address.

 

still running 24/7 fine, will report less often now because seems to be safe like i exepted it to be.

That is nice to hear. I'm still going strong too. Almost 18/7 mostly. 6hrs I play. lol Still on V P N too.

The reason I'm using *** is not for wow. It's for streaming twitch effortlessly without stutters or lag, and for netflix, hulu, or VOD content. When the bot is doing its work, i just watch my shows.
