Turn Release back on and Put Beta back into Testing

Forcing people to use a broken model of BETA could resort in more bans than the previous release. It acts stupid in chicken mod, gets hung up in maps standing in open spots. Fails at looking picks up items it shouldn't and wont vendor them in return wont stash all items, it locks the client up and forcing you manually close the client out....While typing this it stop pathing on docks

i cant (and dont know how) make my bot use any melee attack, it was working perfectly before patch 1.0.5 but now it does nothing, i tried everything i know to fix it but all im able to do is make him use normal attack

I think most would agree with you that something needs to be done about the release version of the product, but to try to draw some kind of conclusion about a community member here based on his forum handle he uses/where he uses it?

Guys we're really sorry the current quality of the bot isn't up to what you'd expect, but everything that has been done, was done because it had to be,

In short, we can fix bot bugs. If you think the bot just sucks, as some people feel right now, that is something we can and will fix.

However, we can't fix bans and currency flags once they are on your account. So if a lot of people are using EB and getting flagged and banned, and not because they were doing something to cause it (such as over leveled area farming, botting 24 hr, etc...) then that is not something we can just sit around and allow our product to exhibit.

If the ban and flagging issue is solved from doing things the way we are now for the majority of people who had issues before, which it seems that way so far, then we can get back to turning EB into the bot people want it to be.

However, we can't put out the old version where a lot of people had bans and flagging issues, even though we would have loved to stick with that version as it allowed us to avoid a lot of the problems you are seeing with the new bot. There's no way around it really. We just have to work with what we have to ensure we're not the ones causing the server sided flagging, even though a lot of people never got flagged or banned with the previous version. Enough people did though, to warrant the change.

Personally I think we should all quit the bickering and fighting NOW.

The current beta isn't operable. We know this. Creator knows this. Old version is operable, but causes lots of bans. I specifically don't know any details about this, but i'll take creators word. Personally I use an account that, if banned, would mean a lot to me. Ya, I know this is a bad idea, but I am smart with using my bot and I willing to take the risk.

Long story short, the best thing we can do right now (as I highly highly doubt creator is going to revert anything back) is to provide him with the details and logs he needs to fix the problems. Shit like "my guy just stands there" and people submitting who don't even play the damn game in real life (outside of botting) should probably just avoid posting anything as it's probably just a time delay. The current bot definitely functions like the old bot (still uses skills fine, still stashes ok some of the time, etc), but it needs a lot of fine tuning and work that can be accelerated immensely with our help.

Sorry for rambling I just really want to get this resolved!

tip: in the meantime, for those who keep an eye on their bot, go ahead and restart the client anytime you see him at the stash. I know it's a pain in the ass, but leaving him be WILL eventually cause a loop error, crash, invalid target, etc etc. Only takes 5-10 secs and won't kill you.

 

Can you guys release the old version and give us the option to use it or not? I would rather take my chances with a bot that has a said "high ban rate" when I have not gotten banned for months of constant botting than being forced to use a beta version where I can not bot at all because it is ridiculously unreliable.

 

just use the backup you have created before updating and say no to update the program everytime you start it.

whats the problem? the developers will under no circumstances bring back a "flaggy" version. (imo)

 

I don't have the backup version and even if I did, it will most likely not work since the new patch. Developers removed the "flaggy" version when a significant amount of people were botting fine, including myself and understood the risks. I paid for this bot and this release was beyond pitiful, you guys might as well not have updated Exilebuddy at all.

 

Maybe ir's better to let the devs do whatever they want(positive way)
They know what they are doing just wait for a new version and play the game or do your homework

 

i think we need to wait. Just Make what you need, and do it best.

 

I dont mind waiting new league isn't for a month and a half. But if it doesn't work by then I'll be really disappointed.
