I am currently using another bot, but it is just not cutting it for me (and will be more expensive in the long run), I am considering buying gatherbuddy lifetime to run bots over cataclsym. However my issue is, if i purchase it now when its very close to cataclysm, and no gatherbuddy is released for cataclysm there goes money down the drain! So I guess what I am trying to say - Is what is gatherbuddy's plans for cataclysm?
I am quite sure gatherbuddy is continuing on production for a while longer and definetly for cataclysm I am led to believe.
hi, where did you hear GB is not continuing? well i would deffo recommend using HB but if your hesitant there is a free trial due to be released soon so you can try before you buy. If your soloey gonna use it for gatherbuddy and farm i would suggest getting it as it can earn you a bit of gold it really depends what you want to do do level another charachter or just farm?
I want to do both, level a few new chars and farm. I was just wondering what the developers intentions were for catactlysm, and what would happen if blizzard were to suddenly release higher protection and prevent HB/GB from continuing
HB and GB are the best u can get in private-public WOW bots. Stable, easy to use, fast updates, VERY cheap if u take Buddylifetime, undetected, and so on? i could go on for ages.
For protection it is near impossable to be bot free in a game they can release all these new software packages and what not but at the end of the day every mmo well famous well known of mmo's have a bot so i can say even tho they may release more protection software, HB/GB is actually quite advanced compared to other bots as this bot is meshed based. I can safley say this bot will be safe, and will continue, What i would say tho when cata is released there will be down time to do updates for the bot as this bot is ever improving. so sometimes not all the time you have to wait and be patient. I have had experience with glider also that two was a good bot but no where as good as HB as i find Honorbuddy very human like. What i would say is look on youtube trpe honorbuddy and you will get a better scope of the product.
I can't wait to write some quest profiles for Cataclysm, but how do the developers feel about the new phasing technology, I know its been around awhile but it is going to be used heavily in Cataclysm.
I would hold off on buying it. It's down right now, and has been for over a week. The creator at one point said he hadn't even started on doing the HonorBuddy modifications yet for this latest patch, and that's the last I heard. I bought it 2 weeks ago, and am somewhat regretful. It crashes every hour, but was fun enough to use nonetheless... it made a great screensaver. But now that no one has been able to use it in over a week, it's no fun at all. I bought one license for it, and it kept on saying 'max sessions in use', and wouldn't let me log on. So I bought 5 more licenses for it figuring that would get it to shut up, but it kept saying 'max sessions in use'. Some nights you can't play at all, because of that error message. Most nights, it forced me to click 'login' about 10 times before it would let me in. I would wait until you can get your hands on the free demo, before purchasing. It has great promise, but in its current state, it's unusable.
hi kamiliche i can tell you that it is user fault that your most likly getting "Max sessions" the only reason i know this is because i had the same issue and the way i resolved it was by PM Bossland and he calmly explained everything to me and what i did and relized i wish i could explain it to you, but it is way to complicated for me to describe so i suggest you contact bossland. As for playing up you have to realise and in which i do know you are new to honorbuddy and i am not the flaming type. Honorbuddy has had several updates which has kind of acted strangley with some of the older files all i suggest is try another profile or make your own. I always try and help where i can, and if there is a issue just ask in a polite manner someone will get back to you as i always scan these forums seeing who i can help. I would suggest for crashing out it is usally the profile your using not are all work the way they should. I have 3x Lifetime and once cata comes i'll be going to a lot more servers ... and thus buying more lifetimes, but atm since the money market is low, im just hording a small amount of gold and then BOOM when cata comes, $$$
Yeah, don't get me wrong, I think HB is brilliant, even with the crashes. And I've tried other bots before, in addition to making them. I'd rather hold my breath waiting for HB to be updated, than waste my time trying out other, less impressive bots. Because what I saw during that week it was working, was breathtaking! Let's just hope they fix the crashes while they're at it.
hehe i know what you mean kam. But in all honesty there will always be bugs with any bot as everyones computer is diffrent you just need to address them tis all
I've never seen HB2 really working. Done all my leveling with HB1 / Raf. I don't think HB2 will be up and running soon, because before the 4.0.1. update we got a lot of crashes... GB is working fine at the moment, some unexpected crashed once a day, I don"t know why... Have fun !
