Appeal Process? Anyone heard from Blizz yet?

Doesn't really hurt to try again but most likely they will just still say no or ignore you. Sorry buddy. I still haven't heard anything from them yet.

 

what did you write in your ticket about? usual "was hacked" - etc or something new?

 

Make your appeal from a friend's computer so your IP Address is different. Will help I'm sure

Started using HB on Jan 9th, received 72-hour suspension on the 22nd. Quote from Blizzard below (30 hour wait time) regarding my inquiry as to the reason for suspension:

Unfortunately the email said the exact same thing with no more information. I used PQR for a couple of weeks over two months ago but mainly on training dummies in SW just to see what kind of difference it made, the only time I used PQR outside of that was on the Timeless Isle on a handful of mobs. I also had PE installed for a few weeks but never configured / used it. As for HB usage, I used GB2 on four separate occasions with public mining profiles for roughly two hour blocks of time all 100% monitored. The rest of the time was spent grinding rep on Timeless Isle via TheBrodieMan's Profile Compendium plugin and some alt leveling with Kick's profiles.

Streaming is the exact thing I tried to use to get my ban overturned. Even provided a link to my twitch channel and some youtube videos of legit gameplay by me (ranking challenge mode runs). Didn't work for me.

To others who were successful with their appeal: can you share what you said in the ticket? I'm trying to come up with a good excuse lol

 

Idc i say them true almost Cuz i use bot for gather nothing else and have hope to change my perma to 72h i say also im streamer on twitch.

 

I am gonna admit that i have been banned 3x. All 3x i have submitted a ticket and they wouldn't over turn it. The 1st 2x i called there customer support and got the accounts back right then there. The 3rd time was just last week. I had 2 accounts banned. I submitted 2 tickets for the 2 accounts. Then i realized that they have that call you back feature. I used that and I got switched to a 72hr. Oh and I will say they did get back to me within 5 minutes. I wish you guys luck that have been perma banned to get your accounts back.

I was permabanned yesterday (no warnings, no previous bans). I sent a ticket, 22 hours later it was answered and turned into a 72 hour suspension on a final warning. I'm happy to share what I wrote in my ticket if it helps anyone that hasn't been banned or suspended before:


Hello, unfortunately today I've received an email that this account has been banned/terminated due to cheating.

I had only recently reactivated and upgraded the account for my brother to use, on the promise that he returned the favour by giving me gold ingame. I now see that he has decided to use a 3rd party program in order to do so. To say that I'm angry at him (and at my own naivety for believing that he would do so legitimately) is an understatement...

I've read your support guidelines about bans and fully understand that as the account holder, I am deemed responsible for any activity on the account. However, as a WoW player of 6 years that has never received an infraction of any sort, I'm appealing that you please forgive my ignorance for letting him use the account without my supervision.

I am a firm believer of education before permanent infraction, and believe me when I say that I have definitely learnt my lesson as far as he is concerned. I am more than happy to return any gold that he had gained through illegitimate means.

If it is at all possible to have the account unlocked for me (and ONLY me!!) to use in future, I would be extremely appreciative.

I highly suggest you delete that response to blizzard, as they do read these forums and that letter is enough evidence to track directly back to you.

 

They can track it directly back to me if they really want to, everything I have written in my appeal is the truth.

Discussing what I wrote on here doesn't change that, and should not change their decision which is ultimately based upon my appeal and the evidence provided to them, not the fact that I have written it on a forum for others to see.

 

I got my perma changed to a 48 hour ban(since it took a day for them to respond to my ticket). Hurray! Good luck to the rest of you

 

Could you please add some info of how you got the ban lifted??
