As both were doing the same, this form applies to them both. 1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? Gatherbuddy 2)Which version (and Beta or Release)?: Release 3)If so, when was the last time?: Yesterday, 16 hours ago approximately 4)What profile were you using?: A townlong mining profile (Gokkeman) 5)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname: One Blood dk and one disc priest 6)What plugins are you using?: Mr. Blacklister and default plugins 7)How many hours per day did you bot for?: 10-12 hours 8)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? 5% 9)How many auctions per day did you have?: 100-150 10)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? No 11)Was your account involved in gold selling? 1 account was, the other not 12)EU or US realm? EU 13)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account? Actual paid account. One account had already been banned before, a perma ban turned into a 72 hour suspension. That happened about a week ago. Now, both have received a perma ban which I hope to turn into a 72 hour suspension.
This. When will people understand that unsupervised botting increases your chances of getting banned exponentially? How do you know you didn't get stuck running into a wall for 10 minutes and people reported you for it? Or perhaps your account was already being watched because, like you said, you had prior offenses?
Having a prior suspension Does Not Mean Anything. The fact that you botted 10h using a shit public profile does on the other hand. Your Botting routine simply triggered their server-side scripts and this resulted into your accounts getting an automated permanent ban. If you had a previous 72h suspension already then don't keep your hopes up, you already had your 2nd chance, they aren't going to overturn the permanent ban again into a temporary one.
So... having a prior suspension does mean something. It's silly to think that Blizz doesn't keep track of who has been suspended or banned in the past.
Well, this script is not that widely used, I barely encounter other people. What do you suggest to prevent their server-side scripts from getting triggered ?
Actually, after receiving suspension on farm account, you are supposed to stay low for a week or two, and randomize the account activities. Just look on the profiles/plugins section here, there is tons of semi or 100% afk activities, some of them even farm you extra gold ^^
stoer dont listen to the bullshit here. if you seriously dont want to get banned you: - never use GB2. if you insist, use it for a VERY short time per day. even 2 hrs per day people are getting banned. - that's it. GB2 is really 99% of the ban issues with this bot. note that this forum section is FILLED with people that used paid profiles, private profiles, random profiles that changed every 10 min, logged on and off every few min, chatted in guild, whispered, ran LFR, observed every moment 100% of the time, and every other thing you can imagine. still got banned.
Thank you for your reply. I honestly do believe there are ways to rack some gold while prolonging your stay in WoW. At the moment, one account has botted with gatherbuddy for about 3 weeks in total and the other one about 2 weeks. If I could prolong this to a month, I would be a happy man Got 1 account unbanned to 72 hour suspension, still need to appeal the other one. The customer service replied that they detected botting on the usual game IP so perhaps that is a source of fooling around and prolong the period till the banhammer? I've seen some threads about IP tunneling etc. What do you guys think? Yes indeed, randombuddy is worth a try. Then I better start making several gatherprofiles myself
