I just took a quick look through the "plugins" section of the forum and could not tell if they are useful or not. Any of you swear by some of them? Best
First of all, I have no idea What in Charlie Sheen's name is EL15. Plugin's are an incredibly useful tool in Honobuddys functionality, plugin's are majority community-driven extended programs if you will, these programs increase Honorbuddys overall usability and productively probably 100 fold.
I would advise that, once you have a plan of action, as in, what you plan on using the bot for, gathering? leveling? PvP? once that decision has been made, look in the relevant subcategories and look through the individual plugin's and see what appeals to you, protection/functionality.
good point. I use to gather with 600 mining/herbalism but i was perma banned and got it reduced to a 72 hour ban. now I have been using it to grind levels.
Hi, My essential plugins: Gathersafe RRLoader Mr.ItermRemover2 TheBrodieMan's Compendium Gathersafe is essential for GatherBuddy2 profiles, and essentially keeps you away from players and mobs based on rules you give it. The Gathersafe plugin will also log you out if any of these rules are broken. Examples would include: "If someone targets me" then "Log me out after x seconds", "If a player is following me for x seconds", "Temporarily blacklist a node if x mobs are y distance to it", etc. It's a very cool plugin and essentially will keep your bot very safe when gathering. When combined with GatherBuddy2 it is the only plugin you need. RRLoader is a more recent plugin (late 2013, I believe) and while as polished as others it provides an essential function missing from HonorBuddy: the ability to reload your Combat Routine! So no longer do you need to close HonorBuddy, restart and choose your new Routine -now with RRLoader you can switch (for example) from Singular to TuanHa when you want to stop gathering and go for a Raid. Very cool. Mr.ItemRemover2 has a nice interface that gives you control over protecting, selling, removing and opening (the best part!!) items in your inventory. For example it can open items (chests, sacks) as soon as they appear in your inventory to save you lots of bag space. It can vendor greys with customisable limits. A very cool feature is the Protected Items list which means you can let it run without worrying about Selling or Vendoring items by accident. It also has a shared configuration file, so once setup it is good for all your bots. Personally I edit the config file and add items to it manually, but the interface is very efficient! Essential plugin for Questing, Gathering and everything in between! TheBrodieMam's Compendium is too epic to be called a mere plugin, and as the namesake suggests it is more a compendium. It automates Daily quests and faction grinds for most of Pandaria (its rise to fame) and is quite well supported and updated. It can run quite autonomously but some monitoring is advised. It also requires quite a strict environment to run smoothly such as no Daily Quests in progress (it likes a clean slate to begin) and some times requires you to clear Cache in HonorBuddy. In use, it can for example do all of your Tillers (including For the time it can save you it is a worthwhile plugin -sorry, compendium! Hope that helps, good day! G
