Okay i have been running GB for a few days now and i just keep dying(blaming it on the fact that im lvl 70) But i have only been in howling fjord farming cobalt and dont understand how i could die so much. Also this has cost me a lot of gold due to the repairs. Is there anything i can do so i wont die every time i try to mine some ore or herbs? Also it only farmed 50 nodes in 4hrs, i dont know this is good or bad, but mostly seems bad

What macros are you using? Also the profile may be buggy and make you die.

Double check your macros and such.
Also make sure you have some good gear!

      What class btw?

It will always suck for you. Your level 70. The monsters are 76. They pwn you hardly. I suggest you keeping with outlands.

I dont want to sound like an ass but if yer lvl 70 unless yer decked out 76 elites are going to own u in the face. Given you have only 3 buttons you can use macroed or not you dont stand much of a chance. Unless you stick to a profile in a lower lvl area yer preddy fucked. If your just doing it for money outland will get u plenty of money from farming. if your doing it to lvl do what i did and get to 75 before farming northrend. Also I use Tony's safe multiprofile. Get the bad nodes!!! SHameless plug here:http://www.thebuddyforum.com/showthread.php?2861-The-quot-Safe-quot-%99-Multi-Profile-V2.5&highlight=safe

I would suggest levelling to at least 75 first and from there farm in borean tundra where the mobs are lower. Only at 78+ with decent gear would I suggest farming anywhere else in Northrend.

I agree. You're too low level. Create your own profile and dodge highly populated areas of mobs. Borean Tundra worked out better for me with this. Even then. level 72+ for botting.

best thing to do is spend a day or 2 and level up some and then start farming again. I wouldnt try to go 3 levels above me without epics. HB is there for a reason, use it

Yeah, this is totally user error. Do yourself a favor, as some other people have suggested, and either get better gear, level up, or perhaps try another area to farm for now (since gathering grants XP now). Running GB is not like running HB, in that GB has extremely limited combat functionality. I would hazard a guess and say that if you were using HB to fight the same mobs that are killing you, you would probably have no problem, even 2v1.

Just an FYI, Heirloom gear has no durability, thus no repair cost. Food for thought.

just watch the bot for awhile and observe, then you'll find out how he dies. the reason you aren't collecting that many herbs/ore per hr is most likely the result of dying a lot, and if you've got "wait for resurrection sickness to fade" turned on, then it will be even worse.
