i stopped playing this game after 1 month so im not sure on mining yield ect, could you make a good amount of money from botting now ?

I know this is thread is an old thread, but for future people wanting to view it: A few things: 1) The length of time it takes to level a gathering profession is currently flooding the market with mats. Most servers are selling mats for very cheap. 2) ^ same with shards. Although Shards do sell very quickly since every crafting profession needs them.. but the cost of shards have dropped alot over the months. Example: on excalibur, wind shards have dropped from 30g/shard to 9g/shard 3) SE has made farming materials for combat classes easier. example: the drop rate of fleece and quantity per drop has been increased, which is leading to abundant amounts on the market, therefore leading to lower prices (this affects many material drops, not just fleece) While making money from this bot is very possible, I would recommend not only relying on the market to make profits, but to also bot/farm the mats for certain levequests to do that reward gil. HQ turn in reward 3x the amount of gil, for example, one specific leve quest that you can do 3 times per leve, could bank 600k gil (if used all 100 leves on it), and the materials it takes to craft the item wouldnt bank you that much from the market board overall.. Im currently working on a profile/plugin/idk(yet) to automate the task of crafting them and turning them in.. so I dont want to disclose the specific leve yet.
Making money from this game doesn't seem very promising, I think there's better odds in WoW and D3 is at a very random stage
