My main account went unscathed, so I don't think it was IP. Any input? --just thought of something. It was my first time running them after installing the PimpMyGuild plugin. Could that have triggered something?
most likely means you got reported before and they were just waiting for you to come online to ban you.
I have only been banned once for using honorbuddy and it was with the PimpMyGuild addon. In combination with SuperGuildInvite, I automated the process with whispers before invite. I was perma banned but appealed admitting to using it but stated that it was overly harsh to perma ban for something which doesn't affect other players gameplay. It was reversed to a 72 hour ban it's up to you if you want to admit to it do not say you used honorbuddy just say you automated the process yourself. I do believe using that addon triggers something whether it be spam (same whispers). My advice to all is to stay away from using PimpMyGuild as good as it is it isn't really worth it at the end of the day just to level a guild quickly. P.S I still use SuperGuildInvite however I manually click on the invite on the same account that was banned for botting. I'm not sure how it detects a bot being used (maybe instant invite rather than waiting) but yeah.
Brazz, I've had a wholly different experience with SGI and PimpMyGuild myself. I have used it constantly starting the first of January up until today, sending whispers and inviting everyone between 1-90 and I haven't had any kind of bans or GM talks even though I have seen several people say that they will report me for spam. I honestly doubt that there is a connection between bans and PimpMyGuild.
I've used pimpmyguild and sgi on multiple accounts to invite LITERALLY thousands of people to various guilds and realms. One account was on for 40 hours straight just idling in sw spamming invites. Not the issue, next...
This plugin seems awesome but i cant make it work. When i go onto my bot i can see the plugin on it and the check-mark is checked but it dosnt invite all the people that my SGI generate. The YouTube video you have is old and it shows somewhere i can download both the plugin and the add-on. Is there a different link to that site because that seemed very easy and straight forward. i would really appreciate any help you can give me.
