      When I try to update the honor buddy it stuck on step 1 of 5 - waiting on Honorbuddy process to end. Anyone else having the same issue?

      Just download the zip file on the release page and extract it to a new folder. Problem solved. IMO the auto updater usually has an issue of some kind. Not to mention, it's always best to do a clean extraction of the bot to avoid corrupted files.

      Worked fine for me.
      Just download the newest version without the using the built-in updater?

      It was stuck for me too but I fixed it by going to the process menu *CTRL + ALT + DELETE* and ending the process of Honorbuddy. You can also try restarting your computer and that may also end the process of honorbuddy as well and that should help.

      if you are still having issues just make a new installation from scratch

      I had the same issue as you, I then removed the folder called updaterbackup and it worked like a charm

      download the latest version of honorbuddy from here.
      http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetNewest?filter=Honorbuddy

      after that do a CLEAN Install into a new folder, do not re-install to an previous installation and do not copy over any plugins, combat routines or quest behaviors into this new installation.
