Hi, Slator, and thanks for the log. As we've noted in Known Bugs List: Miscellaneous (Rep, Seasonal, etc), Kick's Argent Tourney profiles are very stale and need to be freshened. But, several people have updated them at one time or another. You should look in these forums: Alliance/Reputation Horde/Reputation cheers, chinajade Ref: Slator's problem report w/log
Hi, MantaHunter, and thank you for the fresh log. If the cache clearing didn't work, then the news goes downhill fast. Somehow, your quest state is damaged for Hyjal. This article explains how things like that can happen: HelpDesk: Quest giver is not offering expected quest There is nothing wrong with the profile?its a damaged quest state on your side. You will need to read that article and decide how you would like to recover. cheers, chinajade Ref: MantaHunter's follow-up post w/log
Thanks for your time and your reply What I can read from the helpdesk is, the problem are I may have installed a new HB and that may have deleted the NPC list. How can I never have seen this problem before then? I install a clean install every week to delete all settings, logs ect. Nevertheless, I have never seen this happen before. Moreover, what can I do to keep those NPC data when I install a new HB? Is there a way and will you be able to implant this? On the other hand, will it just make it worse?
Hi again, Virus2001, NPC locations are in an SQLite database that ships with Honorbuddy. The database is updated from time to time, but not frequently. The chances of anyone else being able to replicate the problem with the NPC are slim. People have other toons that may 'fly over' or move by the NPC while harvesting, or conducting other activities. When this happens, Honorbuddy notices the NPC is missing from the database and adds it. Once the NPC is learned by one toon, it is known to any toons driven by that Honorbuddy. It just so happens, that none of your toons have passed by this NPC since you last clean installed Honorbuddy. The best thing to do is to get the coordinates of the NPC using Honorbuddy → Developer Tools, and tell us which quest they need to be supplied for. With these two pieces of information, we can give Honorbuddy the hint that is needed (in the profile) to find the NPC next time you do a clean install. cheers, chinajade
Hey all... I am getting stuck with my bot in steppes. I already did the Hatred vice quest line and all... there are no quests for me to pick up but the bot just stops at NPC Yalia Sagewhisper trying to pick up another quest. There is nothing there. I have cleared the caches in all the said folders further back in this post and still hasn't made any difference. What else can I try? In log area it says "Goal: Picking Up Quest - Gao-Ran Battlefront : QuestID - 30785 : To - Ban Bearheart : ID - 61261".

Thanks again chinajade, always great you take your time to make us "normal" humans understand the situation of this "error" It could be sweet if you - as I said in my previously message - would be able to save these "old NPC" data from my characters and maybe upload the data to HB/you, or just a function to import/export NPC data Moreover, just to be clear, I need to find this NPC manual (walk/fly to it, and start bot again?) Thanks
Hi, Having some trouble with my Level 80 Warrior using the Hyjal Quest (80-82) profile. I get a lot of errors which seem to relate to DK, though not sure why it is happening as I'm loading onto a warrior. The error is the following loop which seems to loop 30-40 times before stopping. I know it says loading BC 58-70, but that is what I am confused about as I click "[Fly][N - Quest] Hyjal 80-82 [Kick]" when selecting the profile to load? Profile is indeed running when vendor run is attempted, and fails. I have to stop the bot, because it just stands there and does nothing when trying to summon mount for vendor run. Same Problem. Toon pickup Quest. Big Dragon comes, toon just target the Big Dragon 1-2 times, then start fighting against the little baby dragon and later he run away.
yeah tumbum - we've had issues with that quest since it started. it needs a focus on it... ignore the noobs
Hi, Beesu, Please follow the procedure outlined here: HelpDesk: Cache corruption problems If that does not repair you problem, please attach the full log that captures the issue. Ref: [Guide] How to attach your log cheers, chinajade
Hi, Rascal9, There is one problem with this quest that is identified in the Known Bugs List: Cata 80-85. But what you describe sounds like a navigational issue, which is a different failure mode. Alas, we need the log to see what is going awry, and the attachment is invalid. cheers, chinajade Ref: Rascal9's original post w/damaged attachment
Hi again, Virus2001, There is no way to preserved the data across Honorbuddy releases. The database schemas may change from release to release, and any attempts to copy the binary information can break the new Honorbuddy. As we stated, if you can get us the coordinates of the offending NPC, and which quest is associated with the problem, we can provide the necessary hints in the profile. Correct. You just have to get within 50 yards or so of the NPC, and Honorbuddy will "see" it and at it to the database, when it is started. cheers, chinajade
Hi, Everytime I select a profile, the bot continues to set a goal for Goal: Picking Up Quest - The Leader Hozen : QuestID - 30612 : To - Brother Rabbitsfoot : ID - 59452 No matter what profile I choose, it will continue to find that as a goal and will just sit and not complete any questions. I am running the latest version of both and have updated. Any thoughts on this?
Hi, UncoTomato, and thank you for the log. As stated in Reporting Problems or Seeking Assistance, "compiler errors" are never a problem with the profile. They are the result of a damaged Honorbuddy installation. Your best bet is to do a 'clean install'. This article will help you with that: HelpDesk: "Clean installing" Honorbuddy Also, in the future, please never edit your log file. If its too big for the forum, then .zip it. The forum can easily hold 30-50MB logs when they are zipped. cheers, chinajade Ref: UncoTomato's original post w/log
Hi, User0828, and thank you for the log. We've already responded to your post here. As always, the profile is not running when Honorbuddy makes a vendor run (mail/sell/repair). You can quite clearly see this happening in your posted log at "[17:17:25.632 N] Summoning vendor mount for vendor run", when Honorbuddy stops executing the profile to summon the mount. There is nothing the profile can do about this. It appears to be an Honorbuddy bug. cheers, chinajade Ref: User0828's original post w/log
Hi again, Tumbum, Very sorry that didn't work. We've done as much as we can do with 'blind fixes' on this quest, and will need to get a toon back through the area to see what can be done about it. Thank you for following up. cheers, chinajade
Hi, Braynownzyou, and welcome aboard, You will need to attach the full log that captures the issue, in order for us to figure out what is going awry for you. Ref: [Guide] How to attach your log cheers, chinajade
im trying to farm rep with sha'tari and your profile says to run its plugin, but ive searched everywhere. where do I find that plugin?
