Blizzard is a prick for waiting until I spent 30 more bucks before banning me! GG and I hope you all dont have the same fate!
friendly advice, DONT USE GATHERBUDDY or if you use it, not more than like 4 hours a day TOTAL with several breaks in between. also, 60 day cards on botting accounts is silly, even more so if you bought it with gold.
I had the card laying around. I got 7 of them on sale at Walmart for $14.99 each a long while back. The account was one of the 5 dollar ones with the 10 dollar MoP from the sale and I just started on it less than a month ago. No worries in all honesty just wanted to post to help out if I could. Used my old tactic from the glider days and my account is unbanned now!
Oh the email was: ***NOTICE OF LICENSE TERMINATION*** Account: ************ Offense: Use of Bots or Third-Party Automation Software Blizzard has terminated this World of Warcraft license after identifying the usage of bots or other cheat software. Faktions, they always change the perma with 72h+Fw currently, if thats your first offence of course! No matter what tactic you use atm But if u got it lifted totally, thats good achieve!
But do take it as a lesson that GB is bad news bears unless you fork over a bit of cash for a private profile. Even then, no guarantees.
I can't speak from personal experience, but I've seen people submit ban reports and they were supposedly using randombuddy. It all boils down to HOW you use it. Running 24/7 is bad, but two or three hours a day... maybe. Personally I stay away from GB2 altogether, but that's only because I run one main account.
Which is really funny cause i have my pally use gather like 8 hours a day some days just mining up a storm. And just a fyi blizzard relies on player reports for most of their banning. Hope you were using avoidplayers plugin if you arnt then that could be your problem.
Just remember, all it takes is one player report if that's your theory (which I'm not saying it's not valid). If you want to be careless, that's your prerogative. The advice I'm giving Frayman is erring on the side of caution... there are plenty of legitimate ways to make bank in this game without harvesting for 8 hours.
well I also monitor my bots almost 90% of the time. Since kicks has alot of lil bugs, so I like to watch and that also helps to be safe in general.
