remove: - microsoft .net framework 4 client profile - microsoft .net framework 4 extended - microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable - microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable restart your pc, download the installationwizard from here run it as administrator. after the wizard is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++ restart
Ok, now the bot starts again,....atleast! But now, if I enter my Key it says "Authentication Failed"... I bought lifetime 2 years ago... Do you know what could be wrong this time??? *edit* I just bought a 3 Days Trial Key, to check if it's the Key which is wrong.....Derp -> Its not the Key, its not my firewall (I turned it On- And off), not my Antivirus program or something similar.........getting pretty mad about this "thing".
are you sure the key your trying to use is the same one listed on the buddyauth website? are you sure theres no spaces before or after your key? if your sure, try flushing your dns Flush DNS - What's My DNS? reset your host file back to default. How to Reset Hosts File to Default in Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8? - Tweaking with Vishal and try power cycling your home router.
Did all of the above.....nothing. Something else to do??? If not, Imma go Format C:\ that B*tch *Edit* I now did a windoze System Recovery, to 2 Weeks ago......now it works again but yeah, seems like I installed something bad or so..idk, weird
You can't "format C:\" a system drive Another idea: Open your GlobalSettings.xml file in your /Settings folder with a text editor and check if your key is identical to the entry in it. HTML: <Username>1234567890ABCDEFGHIJK</Username> Maybe you have a write protection or security policy problem. Also make sure, HB is installed into a normal directory on your harddisk, i.e. C:\HB Installing it on your Desktop or system folders, like /documents or /download may cause problems interfering with the SYSTEM superuser.
