Before i had windows 7 ultimate 32 bit and buddywing would start and work fine. I put windows 7 ultimate 64 bit on, and can't get buddywing to work for shit. I start buddywing and it crashes everytime i try to load a profile. I don't have any current log files waiting for one to be created, i deleted all the previous ones. Here's the error message... ( Unhandled Exception) Creating an instance of the COM component with CLSID. [serial number] Classfactory failed due to the following error 00040111 Classfactory cannot supply requested class.
The hell, that appears to be SQL Server related which we don't use. It's an error I've never seen before, are you sure it's related to BuddyWing and not something else? x64 Windows 7 is supported by BW.
Hi randovich, Have you per chance upgraded to Net 4.5.1? Also, are you running the game in a virtual machine or directly on the computer?
The first time i start buddywing i get the regular Unhandled Exception one, then when i start it again, it starts fine but then when i try to load a profile i get that one.
I just noticed i had 4.5 not 4.5.1 not sure if it will help. And i don't use virtual machine. I'll let ya know if this helps.
I was actually wondering if the new NET 4.5.1 might be causing issues (a new installation recently was some cause for concern), but in all likelihood that's not it. Per starting BW twice, that's the norm for me as well. However, the second start-up is normally smooth and allows me to run the bot. Have you tried a different combat profile?
