I've been running on jade forest for a couple of hours (3+) now and it seems that all I got is around 400 gold. How do people supposedly make 30k per day? My profile has 200 NPH and the profit still sucks. EDIT: After botting for few hours and later on doing some BGs I got banned. I was watching the bot all the time and I did BGs manually. I see gb2 is really safe. That was with random profile btw.
Depending on your realm, you can sell ores raw or smelt them into bars and sell them like that. I preffer having all professions at max lvl. It's all about shuffling stuff, if you only sell ores.. The expansion is coming to an end, and with that the economy is absolutely royally fucked. Well at least on my servers.

And if I get let's say 3 stacks of ghost iron ore per hour... that's like nothing. Enough to afford flasks perhaps.
3 stacks of GIO per hour? That's 60 ore, or about 15 NPH which is miserable. If you have a decent profile -- doing only mining and not herbing -- you can reach 160-200 NPH no problem.

When you play the game of gold, you either win or you die. Analyse your bot setup and correct potential downfalls, everyone who uses GB2 gets banned in the end - it's all a matter of time.
I was botting questing, dungeons, battlegrounds and all the other shit 24/7. 3 hours of gb2 and I get perm banned. Great.
Gatherbottings greatest sin would be farming and then selling the raw ore on the AH right afterwards, make sure you process what you gather and remember to take breaks. No one has the patience to farm 3 hours straight and if you want to look like a normal person you will have to keep that in mind.
I did take breaks. And I only sold like 60 ores on AH. Well at least it's a 72 hour ban... From reading a ban post not so long back, the poster in question mentioned a small discussion with a GM, in which, the GM apparently iterated that, after 2 hours of straight gather, a script-ban kicks in, thus, mix it up, don't GB2 for 3 hour's straight!
