Now I know this may be stupid to ask. But I haven't botted in months in fear of the chance of possibly getting banned, i used to bot for hours every day, but now I just miss the simplicity of going to sleep with the bot on and waking up with the stuff that I want, what are the chances of for one night only me running the bot in bgs and getting banned? I know its impossible to say, but based on your own experience what would you say the chances are that I actually get banned for about 8-10 hours of bg botting whilst i'm asleep?
I ran BGs nightly to level 6 characters to 85 in Cata. They ran for 18hours a day. I havent had problems or bans. If you keep it under 13 hours a day you would be fine. Especially if you are just sleeping 8 hours average while your bot is going that wont be a problem
Is this you trying to say there's more chance of winning the lottery than being banned for bgs? Or am I just stupid?
He's saying that you're lucky as hell for not being banned still, so you should go play in the lottery.
i still have an old plugin called Sharp Exit. i normally set it before i go to sleep to 3 or 4 hours. and after 3 or 4 hours it stops the bot. 2ez
Ok my 2 cents regarding BG bans is this ..it is more than likely player reports that get you banned. For example when I run the default free BG bots you find on here it becomes blatantly obvious that my toon is botting by its very actions. and also you can immediately see all the other toons that are bots as well. Its high on peoples radar and everyone is quick to look for the "Bot" I absolutely don't PvP bot at all anymore for this reason ..almost EVERY BG you see someone type " the reason were losing is because of the bots" or some other silly comment regarding it. Botting BG's is on peoples minds and its also a QUICK way to get yourself banned in my opinion. However I do run Tyrael and my Combat routines and have a blast doing that ..even Arena's and RBG's that way as well...if its honor your farming why not try DungeonBuddy and convert JP's into Honor ..its way faster that way if its gear your after. others may have their favorite methods but these are my thoughts .
