Hi all. I'm really digging HB and GB, but I'm having some issues.

I tried searching for something addressing this, but I couldn't find anything like it. It's likely that was just searching for the wrong thing.

I lost an entire crafted set of leather armor for my rogue and he always vendors his green items and poisons. If the gear is rare or epic, he sometimes mails it off to the mail-to character(sometimes just left in the inventory). Crafting goods get mailed to the mailt o character. As far as I can tell.

I use loot-filter and automaton mods for inventory management, but they never did this sort of thing on their own, this is just since Honorbuddy.

Has anyone heard of this sort of thing happening?. Any help and or suggestions are appreciated.

honorbuddy profiles have a protected item list in it... open it and add any item into the protecteditem sections.

some profiles is set to sell all white and green, so its best open and read abit about the profile before using it for your bot.

      1.
There is a file in your HB folder named Protected Items.
In that list you should have alot of common items of value in there, should be many versions up on the forum
      2.
In the profile you're using you can choose what it shall sell and not sell, and what to mail. Its Grey items, Common, Green, Blue and Epic. You can choose either True (Yes) Or False (No) in the profile if you want to send them in a mail or not

A tip is that you should try to find a protecteditem list here on the forums that have most items of value in there (Such as Cloth and etc). Im always Mailing away Blue and epic, and vendoring Grey items, common and Green.

For GB its simple, it will mail away everything EXCEPT the items in your backpack (If you have enabled mailing)

@gatherbastid: Everything you ever wanted to know about protecting your items with Honorbuddy should be on the "About Protected Items" page of the Wiki.

As Laddadbot suggested, create a ProtectedItems.xml file in your Honorbuddy directory and populate it--a good start can be found here. You should never need to alter Profiles for reasons described in the Wiki.

There is also a corresponding ForceMail descibed in the Wiki page.

@quel: You're thinking of Gatherbuddy, Gatherbuddy protects the items in the 16 slots of your backpack. But Honorbuddy doesn't do this. Instead, Honorbuddy uses the ProtectedItems information.

      cheers,
      CJ
