Well I don't aggree with this... I'm sure if the forum had an Popup saying "HB & GB are actually down for a maintenance. Please be patient." from the Administrators and had to check mark it to use forum will help a lot with the multiple same " HB & GB don't work wtf !?!? " posts.
Well if Bossland says it doesn't work, it's not going to happen, but it just seems like the same junk every downtime. A bunch of babies lost asking why their bot doesn't work as if they are the only one on the forum.
This is just an old farts opinion: Ive worked on several development projects, these guys here are rocking. I realize the staff blizzard has in place vs. our pals here. They go into a new patch looking for changes to keep your accounts active. Im ok with the delay, mostly due to the value of the lifetime purchase I chose.(the only choice during a time period that you KNOW in advance is going to have a major update soon!) This is a kind of grey market product , releasing information like an ETA could be used to schedule the next DDoS attack. I personally think these forums should be more private somehow.. Stressing a small staff of developers is the best way to shut down a project and burn them out , make them not care anymore.
we are since 2 months under permanent DDoS - we got more stress to work off than any other company in our business but we are still here
If you had been just a bit less of a fucking retard and done just a tiny bit research, you would know that this was not possible. I am no programmer, so I do not know the details, but I have seen several posts explaining this - as I understand it, basically everything changes (even though we don't see it) from a PTR/Beta to the live retail version. Please don't post if you have nothing positive or constructive to say.
The problem with ETA's are that If a staff member says a certain amount of time like say 12 hours and its not up within 12 Hours you got a bunch of people bitching.
It amazed you because you have no idea what you're talking about. See they would have developed the bot for the Beta or Private server and it would not have worked on the live server. They're different animals. The beta server had multiple changes PER DAY. They've have ended up making a bot that would have only worked on 1 specific BETA or Private server, then had to do it all again for the LIVE server. Can you comprehend that?
Oh I had to get some sleep and I see someone thought I overlooked something... It seems you have missed my point or I didn't make myself clear enough. I have been using HB since February. Even as a novice user back then I knew when blizzard had a patch, announced or not, HB/GB would be down. Yes even I knew and understood the process of patch = downtime. So again if the "professional" botters do not seem to understand this concept, why should I be compassionate to the whining that happens every time the bot is offline. I'll admit I am unforgiving when it always seem to be useless whining, I'm a bitch that way. Bottom line get over it, it will be back, your 100.00 investment isn't going anywhere. Morga
Tbh this whole post is going round in circles - it needs locking imo! Things are the way they are, no matter what you do people will never be happy, its a fact of life that some people are stupid.
Thought about it, but if I lock this then it will just spread to a bunch of other threads. Rather keep it all in one place for now
I just send a pm to admin beacause i don?t receive a pm that HB is down because patch or something. For me, i wait, i don?t had problem, this is a bot, it?s a illegal "suport" to play wow and to not lose time to grind to 80 for me, so, i don?t complain about price, quality or something. If we pay, we must receive but like a bot that is, and the program that needs to do when patch is released by Blizzard the bot needs some time out too to be perfect, or you want that Blizzard detect you easyer and your acc be banned?! Well, i don?t post too much, i?ll came here to see when this is up again. Thanks for all that make this bot, helps me a lot in 3 months. Hugs and good job. For others ........... send me money and i give you a russian bride
One of those hot russian brides or one of those really large ladies that look like they've been working their whole life as a piece of farmyard machinery?
my main question still is, was this bot in production when the patch was avaibile or when the patch was live? because we all know how many beta invites that the dev team recived and the fact the patch was avaible on public test realms and private servers which where all running 4.0. I even had access to 4.0 on my own private server that I would have gladly given up to them if I had known that the didnt test the bot before hand? my point is there was a month that the dev team had aviable to test out on the patch and did they use it? and if not, why not? if you dont know dont reply to my post, this post is a legitimate question and im not just bitch please dont explain anymore about how time is money
It's not a legitimate question because you clearly do not understand the major differences between a live server and a server emulating a live server or a test server. In effect no matter what preparation they did pre-live a lot of it would have had very little effect. This question has been asked 132342342342342342355645776 times before - i just counted, and suprisingly the answer is still the same.
It was started long before 4.0.1 went live. You need to realize that the entire security portion of WoW was changed (battle.net 2.0, new warden, etc) and that was a priority. That took most of the time before 4.0.1 went live.
