autoequip2 doesn't roll

Hello,

So ever since I updated my HB and autoequip is now integrated and no longer a plugin, it does not roll on anything.

I looked in the logs and found this exception:

It says it will roll but never does.

Try and restart HB (not sure if it's gonna work, im headed out atm.. so some1 else better take a look at the logs.)
It should be working, i noticed a few items dropped and the timer worked fine, 5-8 sec wait timer i think..

 

This happens for every single loot roll, I also notice it doesn't equip the BiS gear either.

I've reinstalled several times, still doesn't work though.

It's the same for me, but if I start questbot it starts to autoequip.

Same issue. Just went into an instance with all plugins off, but roll on loot checked in the settings (no disenchant) and it didnt roll on anything. I then checked the various plugins in including AutoEquip2, and it still didnt roll. Fresh install

But I fixed it:

1. Clear all cache folders (there is a guide somewhere here on honorbuddy in some support or wiki thread I found.
(Note: honorbuddy and wow must be shut down)
2. start wow and let it patch itself back fully and then login o your toon.
3. Re-download HB: Buddy Updates
(I use zip version on my desktop)

I'm going to try plugin by plugin now and see if I can duplicate this issue again or if it was the cache folders.

 

From a dungeon run, no roll and no auto equip of gear. Made the run with latest beta.

Let wow update/patch 100% before you start wow and use HB, takes only a minute.

You don't need to clear "Honorbuddy/Cache/" since your downloading a new version.

2.
Download and use a fresh version: http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetNewest?filter=Honorbuddy
(don't add any addons or custom things, just run it in a dungeon and see if it roll's on loot now)
(Check setting to make sure the setting is activated)

That what worked for me, and I think I uninstalled teamviewer from the PC as well.
(TW can run without any installation)

I've done some more testing and this is my find:

At first I thought the roll was broken in dungeonbuddy that is not the issue.

I played on my main "warlock" and it would not auto roll with that setting only enabled.
But when I played with my low lvl tank it would.
So after some more tries I came to this conclusion:


For "Roll On Items" to work, "Auto Equip" must be enable.
It ain't enabled, "Roll On Items" wont work.

Well that solved my mystery and now it works every time I use it.
Not sure if that's how it's intended (I think not), so I'm not sure if it's an issue on my side due to it's a fresh copy with no addons installed.
Somehow I i think it's not me due to others having similar issues, I think the feature is not optimized 100% yet... just a wild guess.

But yea for those who it don't work on, try enable "Auto Equip" as well.

(not I have "Equip BoE Epics" setting as well on my testings so far, however I think that have no affect if it's on or off)
