Then what gathering routine is even worth doing without being hit?

would be a time thing, never bot for more than an hour or so then change toons and accounts, change your ip also. And its probably in game behavior of GB cause people don't land on nodes like GB does, people don't behave like GB does. and the behavior should be randomized so it doesn't land the same way every time etc. Its not your profile that does it.

You wont get caught if you only farm for 1 - 4 hours per day whilst supervising your character. Never leave your character without supervision for someone might send you a whisper or talk something. And when you do not respond and you're online / flying around that may cause some action.

I usually update my broadcast and talk in the guild chat every now and then when I leave Gatherbuddy on. And of course, if you do bot more than 1 - 4 hours per day then I'd suggest selling the goods in a very discreet manner. For if you have +200 items up for sale daily, that raises some suspicion.

      Carry on, ta ta.

I have been using gatherbuddy pretty regularly for close to a year now without ban. You must try to do things to fit in like a normal player.

People say that it's node per hour and player reports, judging by the way the bot gets a node doesn't look human at all.

basically the bot doesn't make a really hard to attempt to not look like a bot, although that is very hard to do... fact is that most people don't use click-to-move so it looks out of place especially if a bot uses it.

It's a luck thing. Depending on the server population, player reports and just luck. I see people getting banned for 1-hour botting with GB while I bot 3h a day.

It is not only the behavior of the bot. And eaven a absolute human look-alike bot will get banned. I use GB since 2012 with one account and didn`t get a ban. I don`t eaven use private profiles, I use profiles that are downloadet thousend times from here and I use them since the MoP release.

As some GMs already told, there is a system that triggers if you collect Item X too many times in a certain period without doing something else. They eaven suggestet to go to a dungeon every once in a while, because real players also get banned if they farm long enough, for example to get mats for the ingi mount.

Another point is to just avoid player reports. So just don`t get to close to others, so that they cannot watch you when you farm. And If they watch you and follow you, just quit and don`t let them watch you gather more than 1 or 2 nodes the same way.

Those are very simple rules and I wrote them about 100 times here. But all the time I read stuff like "Gatherbuddy is bad, we need a new botbase, I got banned after 10 days of farming only 6h a day..." To all those..... Try farming only 3h a day by hand for more than one day. It will drive you crazy.

And if Blizz takes a look at you behavior and your toon did nothing else than farming for the last 2 weeks (no dailies, no quests, no dungeons) its not that hard to detect that you are a bot.

As always, there is no "proof" for the GM Triggers. I do not even think they exist and still believe that >95% of all bans are due to reports.
This forum is for ban reports only and not for general discussion about GB2 or how to use it.

"Everyone gets banned with Gatherbuddy...." is a very bad title for a thread and only for getting attention. No facts, only panic making. Closed!
