Back from the dead. Thinking of getting back to HBuddy, i was wondering can you use the bot to farm PVP gear in battleground?
Yes you can. But in my oppinoion it is one of the best ways to get a ban extremely fast. If you try to do it you will notice that 5 or 6 players of your 10 man team will use the same waypoints as you do, mount up at the same positions and the same time as you do and that it will piss of the other 3 real players very quick. Report-> Ban. But HB is planning a new PvP bot, which is almost in Alpha test phase. At least some developer wrote that on IRC some days ago. Can`t wait for it. But atm I would absolutely not use the bot in bgs. But you can use a Botbase like combatbot or raidbuddy and do the movement manually. That should be "safe" but it will be no fun because you will see all the bots gimping around.
Although BGFarmer from Millz is good, im starting to see the same trend as BG buddy happening. same waypoints same mounting etc... I personally dont risk it anymore with botting in bg's even though i purchased millz's bgfarmer. And before anyone starts QQ'ing at me and saying make your own, Im not criticizing the product just simply voicing my observation.
personaly ive been using it for about a week or 2 since he released it and i have yet to notice a trend but i am on u.s servers so /shrug <3 millz
BGBotting is horribly risky. Any player with half a brain will notice the 3+ characters moving on the same exact path. I recommend DungeonBuddy, it's still risky but as long as you have an eye on it, it's not very obvious, especially as a healer.
want to get banned, do it. dont want to? use dungeon buddy and convert jp to hp. And not to talk bad about millz since his cr's are insane as is his support, but bg farmer is just another bg buddy. Diff waypoints, diff shizzle. if to many use it, same routine movement and spotting will happen as with bg buddy. And shizzle starts all over again
