Me too, same "Could not connect to the authentication server. It may be too busy to process your request. Please wait a few minutes and try again! Authentication failed." message =(
I am also getting this. I logged in once about 20 mins ago, but after I logged out I have been getting the error ever since
I, too, am getting an authentication error of the following variety: Could not connect to the authentication server. It may be too busy to process your request. Please wait a few minutes and try again! Authentication failed. My credentials are correct and I was able to log in once earlier today. Ever since, I can no longer log in. I did go to http://hb.buddyauth.com and logged in there to which it responded as follows: SESSION LIMIT This leads me to believe that HonorBuddy thinks I am still logged in with my one available session (I bought the HB version that allows a single session). The devs may want to look into properly handling sessions that are inactive. EDIT: I did a traceroute to the auth server and I am connecting to it just fine (as you'd expect by my being able to go to the URL above). The issue is on your side as your server still thinks I'm logged in even though I haven't been for hours.
I can't believe no one has even written a solution to this problem. Even posts regarding this issue in the original release thread are being ignored. It's simply unbelievable.
http://hb.buddyauth.com/ <--- its up and working for me. it must be your computer or your connection. As far as hb not wanting to work, hb also works for me. So again... check ur stuff
AUTH BAD Any more brilliant solutions, genius? I've "checked my stuff", nothing changed since thursday, when I botted my Dk from 79 to 80. New patch on wednesday, Hb not working (as usual) and with the new release comes the authentication error. Two months with bugs, flaws, errors, slow updates and poor service. These have been the worst spended 25€ in my whole life, for sure... (-_- ') Check your stuf, says...
possible reasons, 1. you logged into your HB on the HB.exe with incorrect login e.g, M0rf0, but actual is m0rf0. (note: wont work because they are, case sensitive) <- If you can log onto hb webby, then click log out since it counts too. 2. run as admin 3. firewall/anti virus check whether it is blocked. 4. subscription is up. not sure what else hmmmm
