Freeze Pulse how to make work properly?

How to make freeze pulse at least to be mele skill, so i will not stuck on ranged monsters without hiting them because character doesn't move?
Please help

 

Extra Projectile Range skill gem should work, not sure how else. Same issue with incinerate

 

That's kinda lose of socket i cant find any range indicators for range spells and this anoys me

dont know how its possible to do this with the new routines.... would be nice if someone could help!
