The 3 that didn't get banned where the accounts that listed the auctions and had guild leadership of lvl 25 guilds. 250+ Per day on multiple characters no ban. Using Private gather profiles, not to much of a big deal I've lost many more accounts in the past.
Mind telling me why this is a troll? there is nothing to achieve if I come on here and "troll" about accounts being banned I gain nothing, I simply never bothered to make an account before now if you wouldn't mind would you kindly fuck off.
Pics of Didnt happen. Nice try with your bullshit. DONT LISTEN TO THIS GUY HES PROBOBLY FROM ANOTHER BOT SITE. IDIOT
How you dealt with the 21 bots? Single machine? Single IP? Using Virtual Machines? Or something in between? It seems you have been autoflagged and banned for so many gathering accounts in the same time from the same machine, or im wrong?
Rope | eBay Do the world a favour and take your own life. They were all on the same IP, however over 3 different computers, I believe it must have been some sort of IP flag for my gathering accounts I just don't understand why my Guild and Auction accounts didn't get hit.
I too got hit with this message today. I only have 1 account, and this was the first time being banned. I actually used a profile that I had never used before unattended and thought maybe that was my mistake. Unlike many, I don't use my account to make money or anything, mostly just for farming for my own use and to assist me in getting through the more tedious grinds (and of course the cc's that do much better than I at rotations, help me enjoy game content that I would likely not be skilled enough to participate in). So I while being a little disappointed in the ban, I accepted my fate when I started using HB, and my next account I will continue to use this fine product, but with a little more caution. Now I have some work to do to get back to where I left off So I don't think this poster was trolling at all, I recommend keeping an eye on your bot usage, might be something coming down the pipeline. Or maybe not, I don't know.
I am pretty sure, that would be the issue. On my local net I was running with 3 computers too, one with 3x bots runned on shifts (max 2 online), the other for AH/tyrael etc, and the third with ~10 gather bots on shifts again (but with 4-6 online at a time), and guess what? These 6x online got hit nearly at the same time (in ~20min timeframe), these not online for the day dodged the bans, and these on the other computers too, even after the survived bots were PPing for 10+ hours daily, but the banned GB2 were gathering for not longer than 5 hours daily. Three weeks later, even when I had arranged the bots in better shifts (So max 3x GB2 bots online on the same computer) I got autobanned on the third machine again (Machine 1 and 2 were fine). The interesting moment here: This time only 2/3 of the current shift got hit, the survived account was freshly reactivated few hours prior the hit and was gathering for not longer than 2-3 hours, so I must assume, they collect data for longer than one or two days, before the hit, and they action only the accounts "flagged enough" One of the offline accounts got hit aswell, which again proves the above theory. I doubt its the IP-only issue, but more likely, they flag the accounts per IP+Machine as couple
My AH bots were online at the same time and didn't get hit so my guess is it's a gathering thing as I also played on my main account on one of the computers I was botting on and nothing happened to that either, while your IP theory is correct and probably true there must be some sort of tripwire for example you are determined a bot - Ban ¦ IP Check ¦ another account found - determined a bot - Ban ¦ IP Check, and so on I believe it probably works like that.
Simple IP ban. Nothing more, seen it before, nothing new. If you go all out and buy 25 promo accounts and start botting with them 16h a day gathering a ton of mats. Well guess what, ban is what happens. Nothing new here at all.
Its not that simple! Its not directly IP ban for everyone running gatherbots, but pairing the IP address with the computer, and collecting logs for some time, and when certain flag is passed, the autoban come! The practice proves it, that the autoban comes much faster, when you meet some criterias, like using several GB2 bots on the same computer+IP (Without virtual machines) in the same time, not using any randomization in the activities for the GB2 bots, etc., botting for longer than humans usually do (over 6 hours daily)
