Starting on a new server, which one?

Hey folks

I am thinking of starting on a new server with some friends, where we're going to play, but also bot (for my part that is).

Id like to get on a strong realm with alot of PVE/PVP, so that there is a demand for gems etc.

My question is now, how do I find out which server suits my needs?

Id like to get in on the gem market and sell gems cut/uncut, but I dont like too much competition either =/

Also, it has to be an EU realm, and we wanna play horde side.

 

Stormscale have alot of PVE and PVP, and is also a big horde server. I think Kazzak is another big horde server, but I have never tryed it.

 

How can I find out if there is alot of competition on the gem market on these two servers?

When i look at different realms, I barely see any difference in price or demand, and i've been looking at stormscale, kazzak and twisting nether on horde side. Close to no difference.

I am looking at the jewelcrafting tabs, cos thats where ill be doing my buisness.

 

I can't tell you much, because I only play there on my main, and I don't use the AH as much as the other accounts

I think we'll be heading for Kazzak. It looks like it is the most hardcore PVP server, both PVE and PVP progress wise on EU, horde side.

I play on stormscale, pvp wise its good, and as almost any server, there are also lots of pve. Also played on kazzak once, the gem market competition is huge, but there are also lots of pve and pvp. Stormscale has more pvp than kazzak, and kazzak has more pve than stormscale.

 

I play on horde kazzak and while you can sell quickly the prices are shit and gold prices are even worse.. a 60 day game card is like 95k gold, the gold there almost have no value, other servers its like 45-55k..

 

Thanks theaadark2, when you say huge gem competition, does that mean that if i post 2 of each gem uncut, that they wont sell because someone is always undercutting me or? If u can explain

Cos on my current server, there is a guy who is constantly undercutting me, and lowering the prices, so he buys all of my gems for cheap prices, because my bot just auto posts them to a minimum price.

 

well, considering its a huge server, there is no way that you wont have competition on such a popular market. but fear not, your gems are going to sell fast anyway. It looks like your experience comes from medium-low pop servers, its ok, things are very different in high-full, you gems will get constantly undercut but also sold anyway.
