I just bought a new laptop and ran into this problem. Graphics settings have been changed from direct x 11 to 9 This is a fresh install. It doesn't even get to the box to put the key code in. here is what appears in the log generated. Did you use the HB Installer? Wait, let me answer that for you: No, you didn't since you've got assemblies missing. Use the HB installer, should solve it.
Well, you were right. That fixed the problem. It also fixed the hearthbuddy problem as well. Thank you for your help Croga.
so i am having the same problem but I am using the installer. does this mean i cannot change the location of where i install HB?
