      Hi,

I've been running Hearthbuddy for a couple of days without any issues. Today I tried running it in a VM (Win 8 on VMWare Fusion).
I installed all required .NET shizzle and runtime thingies.

Bot starts, I enter key. I then get "This program has stopped working" message in windows. Log is pretty empty as well, it seems to crash on update check:

      [08:34:49.442 N] Hearthbuddy 0.2.281.39 starting.

The Number that was cut out is nothing sensible that you would have to remove.
Characternames, Usernames and similiar info will not be written to a logfile.

HB works from vista to 8.1. Support forum provide all necessary informations to solve your issue.

      Common issues are :
      - Not enough rights
      - Web access unavaible (firewall?)
      - .NET requirements not installed

Please don't hijack this post regarding general windows 8 issues. It's only when I'm trying to run it in a VM that it crashes.
The VM does have internet access, as I can browse and play the game fine. .NET and runtime modules are installed and I'm running HsB as administrator.

Please dont hijack this post thinking the issue is you are in a VM.

I have 3 sessions working on Virtual box Vms and it works well.

      Look for basic issues resolving.

Hankerspace- I am trying to run HSB in a vm (vm workstation 10) and it runs but it seems to "freeze up" eventually to the point where if I close HSB, the game will unfreeze and like show all moves that happened until I eventually died.

I am devoting 3GB of memory to the vm with nothing else running on it. Any advice on how you run it inside a vm without this happening?

      EDIT:
Actually, Hank I just now had the same thing happen running on a normal computer. I am running .42 this wasn't happening with .41 looks like it isn't a VM issue so I will report in a separate thread.
