This ban was 100% my fault, I just want to post to show how I got my ban overturned to just a suspension. I normally just use lazyraider, but I decided to level up mining on an alt. I forgot I had it running and it ended up running about 16 hours, maxing out mining, and gathering quite a bit of ore. I didn't even remember it was running as I was not at home with my computer until I got an email saying my account was banned. Anyways, here's the recap of how I got my account back after a 'perma-ban'. 1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account?: Gatherbuddy GB2 2)Which version (and Beta or Release)?: v2.5.10217.732 Release 3)If so, when was the last time?: 4/30/14 4)What profile were you using?: Public Ghost Iron ore gathering profile 5)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname: Default, Rogue 6)What plugins are you using?: Anti Drown, DrinkPotions, HBRelog, AbStuckHelper 7)How many hours per day did you bot for?: 3-4h average, 16h the day of ban* 8)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot?: 0% the day of ban 9)How many auctions per day did you have?: 0 10)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? no 11)Was your account involved in gold selling? no 12)EU or US realm? This was not my first ban or suspension on this license. I quote from the GM response, "Due to the accumulation of previous infraction, as well as the above infraction, this World of Warcraft license has been reviewed for closure." Thank you for your input though.
This was my second ban for the same activity. The last one was from 01/20/13, so a little bit ago. That one was overturned because it was from a player report from a player that also got banned the same day I did for god knows what. This is also the second suspension. The first was a 72 hour suspension for language.
they pretty much always remove ban if you're first time banned for some reason. For example if you would have banned second time for same botting then they wouldn't remove the ban.
Alright man, you win. I'm sorry I posted since it obviously wasn't helpful or insightful. Can a mod lock this thread please.
