Paid Running 2x 5man Dungeonbuddy teams farming some dungeons for gold, each on different server. First group been running for about 10 days , the other for 7 days. Made guilds on each of the server, depositing the gold every 2-3 days. The night before the ban i bought a 11th acc with the purpose of giving him access to the gold, in case the botting accounts would get banned. So i bought the acc, made a lvl 1 on each server, invited them to the guilds and promoted them to officer and then logged out.(All this from different IP). I didn't withdraw any of the gold. Next day 6/10 of the botting accounts gets banned, e-mail says Gold selling as reason. 5/5 of one server , and 1/5 of the other, the character that was GM and invited the lvl 1 char. Im thinking wether its possible that inviting the lvl 1 characters to the guilds and giving them " access " to the gold triggered this. Considering that i had just bought the account, im thinking that it might also still been considered a trial account, since it takes some time until the system actually upgrades the account to cataclysm. EDIT: The 11th acc that was given access to the gold didnt get banned btw. Would gladly listen to other opinions
simply because Dungeonbuddy is probably detectable if used 24/7 or grinding the same instance 24/7 I got several account banned only by leveling with Dungeonbuddy.
Im still not yet convinced that giving gbank access to the new acc and getting banned the next morning is a coincidence
In the last two weeks, I've been banned for 72 hours for hacks on 6 accounts, then permbanned on all accounts 5 days later. Now after 2 days on new accounts 2/10 got 72 hours again using dungeonbuddy. Even tho I'm using different PC and IP for trading, still the link will be always there, when you invite the trader account or when you send gold to him, and if a GM look into your accounts and guilds, after multiple ppl reporting you for doing 24/7 botanica or whatever you are doing.. you will be banned, you might be able to fool the automatic systems with IPs and such, you (probably) won't be as lucky with a GM.
giving acess to guild bank dont lead a ban....lol its 24/7 ¬¬ who in the hell can play more then 16~18 hours a day?
When i quit my management job i played 14-16 hours a day PVPing before i had a bot... did this for a month and a half back in Wrath. Than i found the bot and looked back at all the stuff i had earned on my own. After that i cried my self to sleep.
Lots of trolling here, indeed. On the question: Have you discovered if the ban was manual or auto? Since Abuse of Economy is involved, the things seems very suspicious regarding manual ban, but if you dont have any previous offence on the banned licenses, you could give a shot into appealing first on the 1/5 banned server, ofc, try it from different IP than your usual botting ones. If you are lucky, you could continue from the others. I dont recommend play as hacked while appealing, because last time I did that, the GM admited, I was hacked and locked for identity check almost all of my accounts logged from this Ip in the last 2 weeks
I got hit 2 days ago on 10 accounts as well. Doing the same thing, 2 teams of 5 with Dungeonbuddy. I didn't play with gbank or anything so I'm pretty sure Dungeonbuddy triggered it. Well, that and 24/7 farming. Accounts were ~10 days old and already had a 72h ban last week... I guess the latest 50% discount on WoW is making Bli$$ard so aggresive right now. Bans left and right lol.
