Greetings Fellow BW Users & Devs! I'm new to BW (as subject says) however I'm a long time DB user(despite my join date-Been using for years) . Got all my D3 accounts banned and am not going to buy anymore blizz products. I am hoping to make friends here and get BW up and running. Please forgive my ignorance, I do not know BW very well and have some noob questions for someone willing to take the time to help me get started. (FYI- I did read Walters getting started guide and various other posts) I want this bot to do a couple of things and have not been able to find what I want: I was hoping this bot would have a party plugin similar to the one my buddy rrrix the genius wrote : SimpleFollow - Multi-Bot Party Plugin I tried Slave Collar but was unable to get it to work over lan machines. How Simplefollow works: Leader DB creates a server and updates with his cords. Followers connect, send command for leader to invite, leader invites, followers pull cords from leader's server and follow the leader. Can be used with multiple clients on one machine or via lan. Followers just follow the leader and combat assist - they dont do quests, they accept the rewards/completions as leader completes them. Precisely what I am looking for is for my bot to form and maintain a full party of my characters and run flashpoints 24/7.. I didnt see any profiles for flashpoints though.. Does BW run flashpoints? (Think I saw something about it doesnt because of the navigation server or something, but figured id ask anyways) If the above isnt possible what can I run a 50BH Arsenal to just run around killing stuff/gathering 24hr without supervision until i figure out what I want to do? Also what combat routine should I be using? I tried Joe's but it wont compile, shoots out an error about skill tree something. (Maybe I have a skill it doesnt like or something?... Yes I know to provide logs but I'm not looking for support for that right now, dont even know if it is a good combat routine/supported to be running.) The only party running plugin you have is Slavecollar. Second thing, the bot doesnt like zone-ing. So for flashpoints, when you got in and the map gets loaded, it gets shifted to another memory address if im correct, where the bot failes to read to. So when your zoned the bot doesnt know where you are. Only thing for this to work is to stop and start the bot or in the worst condition restart of the bot. Third lvl 50? why not lvl 55? The level 50 chests and elite zones are mostly watched and game alot of bans pre expansion. On lvl 50 the highest planet is Corellia... I suggest to level to 55 and farm on a remote place on makeb with a vendor somewhere nearby (in case you die or get full bags) Lastly for the routines, if you grind in high density mob areas id suggest Unpure. if there is lots of transport involved the best you can do is run Joes, cause he got mounting working.
I asked about level 50 because all my characters are only level 50. I stopped playing years ago when the cap was 50 and reactivated my account 24 hours ago or so. Question about slavecollar.. Does the plugin work/is still supported? (Just asking so I dont waste a ton of time working on it if it doesnt work).. I have a lot to learn about this.. Its a little different then DB. Well, best you can do is, search for every grind / ban thread/post around here and stay away from those areas Do some research on sites where you gain the most profit or what ever works for you. Also if you see to many people grinding a certain area... STAY AWAY FROM IT, its just asking for troubles. The best profiles, are private! For Slavecollar, if im correct there where only a few people using/testing it and i think it didnt really improve... And now Ama is gone, so i dont think you can expect the project to work. Evenso running more then 2 copies of SWTOR seem to take to much stress on most pc's people are running. If you really want this, post in the forum, maybe there is someone still around using it. If not then you need to test what works or program your own plugin. Anyways good luck.
Great, thanks again for all your help.. I'll try out some stuff when I get home from work this evening.. Try to put something together.. Also I'll post log for joe's compiler error on joe's thread later.. I was trying to get it to run last night, would not compile.. Trashed all plugins, all compiled assemblies, and the default routine.. Just basically BW and joes, kept shooting out a compile error on startup. I'll post that later too...
