I had this problem while updating: An error occured during update process. Please report this error on forums. System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): Only a part of the ReadProcessMemory- or WriteProcessMemory - demands was finished. On System.Diagnostics.NtProcessManager.GetModuleInfo( Int32 processID) on System.Diagnostics.Process.get_MainModule() on WpfUpdater.Updater.<get_Processes>b_0(Process p) on System.Linq.Enumerable.WhereArraylterator`1.MoveNe xt() on System.Collections.Generic.List`1..ctor(|Enumerabl e `1 collection) on System.Linq.Enumerable.ToList[Tsource](|Enumerable`1 source) on WpfUpdater.Updater.get_Processes() on WpfUpdater.Updater.KillAndWaitForProcesses() on WpfUpdater.MainWindow.WaitForExit() on WpfUpdater.MainWindow.DoUpdate() on WpfUpdater.MainWindow.<.ctor>b_1(Object o) I'm making my own thread because some shitty moderator forced me to make my own repetitive thread instead of posting to the other thread that had the EXACT SAME ERROR. I only am posting because the error specifically says to post here. I simply downloaded the update via a ZIP file. It works fine. Clearly the update has a problem.
if you would, please post a full log as an attachment so we can see whats going on. http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/honorbuddy-guides/35945-guide-how-attach-your-log.html
The only log file generated when doing the update is: [22:35:27.825 N] Honorbuddy v2.5.10217.732 started.
download the latest version of honorbuddy from here. http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetNewest?filter=Honorbuddy after that do a CLEAN Install into a new folder, do not re-install to an previous installation and do not copy over any plugins, combat routines or quest behaviors into this new installation.
Again, as indicated in my original post that was deleted, I have already installed the update via a clean install using the ZIP download of the latest verison of Honorbuddy. I am simply reporting the error as indicated in the error message for the HonorBuddy update program. Clearly there is something wrong with it.
i found the solution of my problem!!! when i started the profile, bot didn't start anything, loading profile... then i wathed logs and saw that problem is that files FlyTo,and NocombatMove to cant work correctly, and i replaced these files from last version, that i downloaded a month ago, and...it WORKS!!!!! sorry for my English( i hope,it will help u,mate p.s. profile i wrote by my self
I would like to reiterate the fact that I no longer have an ongoing problem because I simply updated it manually. The problem is when I first launched it, and I clicked yes to run the updater. As I explained already in my deleted post, I did already have installed 4.5.1 .NET framework. This did not fix the problem. As for uploading a log file, I copy pasted it into the post because it's only one line long! There does not exist a detailed logfile for this exception. Please lock/close this thread as clearly there is no progress being made. It's a problem with the updater. I was trying to help by following instructions of the error message.
