Running into walls, trees etc. Please help

Hi there. I am not sure is it HB problem or the profile problem (I think it is something to do with HB so decided to post it here)

I have noticed during mining and herbing using Gatherbuddy 2 my character will from time to time run into wall or tree or something else, it could be anything and it keeps running the bot is not recognizing it as a stuck and profile is continuously trying to mount ground mount and the flying mount spamming error: can not do it while moving. Logmeout plugin won't recognize it as a stuck either. It is bit upsetting as you can imagine what other players will think and do when they will see my character trying to run through the tree for 30 minutes.

I am attaching the log. I hope you will be able to help me because at the moment I wont leave my bot unattended :-(

 

are you sure thats the correct log, from the log it seems to be mounting and gathering fine.

try clearing your log folder, reproducing the issue and uploading the newly created log.

 

I believe this is correct log. I do apologize but I did not stop HB when the problem happened I just manually helped the bot and it continued from there, therefore the problem would not be on the end of the log. Problem starts I believe exactly here: [17:05:05.860 D]

im not sure why you where getting interupted.
it did fix itself though. the only thing i can think of is if you got into combat somehow.

 

I was getting interrupted because the bot was making my character to run continuously, because it was still running when hit the wall it could not mount so it was running and trying to mount at the same time. It did not fix itself I had to press the movement button on keyboard in order to stop my character running and then it mounted and continued. It looked like it just stuck on running. I was definitely not in combat.

 

it wasnt the bot. are you sure you didnt have something else interacting with the wow instance? i know when i was VNC'ing in on my wow session sometimes it would go running off. but i can assure you it wasnt because of the bot. if it was the bot causing it to run, a keyboard press wouldnt of fixed it, it would of keept going.

 

Hmm. I have a Team Viewer running in background at all time. Sometimes I connect to my home computer from work using Team Viewer to check is everything ok. Do you think that could mess with the HB ?

 

its on our list of apps that can mess with honorbuddy so its entirely possible.

 

I know this thread is not about it but what would you recommend instead of teamviewer please ?

Hmm. O did a little test. I reversed Hb to the state before upgrade and did 3h of smooth gathering this morning. No problems at all. I know it does not proof that something is wrong with the latest release but I dud not have this problem before and running this set ip woth teamviewer for over a month. Will stick to the older version of HB for now and see what happens. Thanks for help

 

Could u please link where u got the older version of HB cos this one is absolute crap,keeps using ground mount runs 2 steps stops gets off gets back on what alot of rubbish this is,

 

I am afraid I wont help you. I had previous versions of HB installers on my drive and just used them. I am sure if you look on the forum you will be able to find link to the older versions.

Ps. Running all day on previous version without problems. Just noticed 1 weird thing now. I am not sure should I start a new thread for this or post it here: My bot lands next to the herb dismounts WAIT 2 SECONDS Gathers mounts and WAIT ANOTHER 2 SECONDS and continue flying. It is 4 seconds waist per nod. Maybe not a lot but if we look through 8-10 hour gathering period this is like few stacks of herbs or ore not gathered due to wasted time on waiting between action. Before it was instantly harvesting mounting and flying away. Any ideas ?

 

well there was a patch, so your going to HAVE to upgrade. its never a good idea to run older builds of honorbuddy.

 

This is a very familliar issue.
I myself, are currently experiencing the same issue.

My toon keeps farming herbs for a while but it ends up stuck running into something whilst honorbuddy is trying to mount while moving forward.
Causing the farming to stop and the char to keep being stuck, does not auto-correct itself or blacklist location/node.

Using:
Professionbuddy to level alchemy and herbalism from 1-600

I also get a similar issue, it looks like somehow it tries to move and mount at the same time.

Interrupting movement for a second fixes it.

However I am also using a remote desktop tool. (Splashtop)

I can also attest to this issue. Corpse recovery. Working fine before any patch/changes were made. It started with beta .610. Even a brand new system installed and defaults for WOW, HB and requirements... Same issue.

This is a issue that can't be "topic closed." Everyone can contribute logs, but apparently it's not fixed yet. Please do not close this topic. I think sticky should be made on common issues that relate and some fixes.

 

Well I had to update to the newest version of HB due to the wow patch. Just testing it now. If I notice this problem again I will report it.

 

I didn't have to wait to long. Yestarday on old Hb version 2 farmers over 18hrs gathering and not even a single problem. Today 2 farmers again and not even 2 hours of gathering and it happened on both of them. I can not sau definitely but 99% this problem has nothing to do with teamviewer. I will ppst logs in 30 minutes.


edit: It happened again. I am reversing to older version I can't gather like this. Please try to find the solution for this problem. I am attaching log the problem is just on the bottom of it.

Do a clean install of the latest beta.
you can download it here.

after that do a CLEAN Install into a new folder, do not re-install to an previous installation and do not copy over any plugins, combat routines or quest behaviors into this new installation.
