Try this fix for Honorbuddy crashing issue.

right click honorbuddy.exe with clean install. go to properties and then compatibility mode tab and select windows vista service pack 2. and then run Honorbuddy.exe . if this doesn't work with stable release try with beta release. report if this works for anyone else.

i did like u said and when i open HB and i log in

it keep saying Logging in... on the logs i can't load or do anything

My HB Crash after 5min running, I solved it running my HB as ADM, i dont know it really works, or just coicidence.

try using it on the beta version if it didnt work on stable build, and remember to do clean install. if the vista sp2 compatibility did not work try vista sp1 or just vista compatibility. Iam using stable build right now. it works for me on both builds.

Im running 8.1 when I follow this to properties there is no compatibility mode tab

 

i tried it on stable version i loaded the questing profile but my character wont do anything, just mount up and stay

Having the same issue. Mine usually only presents itself when I have the game window in focus. There is no indication of any problem in the logs and it seems to be completely random and nothing I do can remedy the problem.

 

just use the latest build.

download the latest version of honorbuddy from here.

after that do a CLEAN Install into a new folder, do not re-install to an previous installation and do not copy over any plugins, combat routines or quest behaviors into this new installation.
