Hi, Can anyone tell me if a plugin can override the selling of items based on quality? I'm looking for something I can Set-And-Forget so I don't have to check profiles each and every time to see what the profile writer decided to do with my items. (We've all been there, vendoring items we didn't want to vendor because we were stupid enough to check the profile)
it can be made to automatically sell items of a specific type/quality/etc when you open up a vendor. it can't PREVENT hb from selling them. only you can do that. by opening up each profile and setting the settings correctly. or just removing them all together (default is DON"T SELL THAT SHIT). then lootfilter could be made to do it all.
Thanks for the reply... exactly as I feared. I hate manually editing every profile by hand and I'll never understand why profile editors insist on selling *everything* they loot by default. Wish this was implemented directly in HonorBuddy so I could just go play lazy.
not many profiles sell blues or better by default. so making it sound like all of them do is a bit silly. if you're so lazy, why aren't you selling everything? all that sorting and reading and ah'ing must be really taxing...
What is the easiest way to change the settings in the profiles? Current profile is selling my eternal airs and cloth. Thanks
-trader-, If you have items you don't want sold, that's what Protected Items is for. It is not the job of the Profile to protect said items. Instead, it is up to you with a ProtectedItems.xml file. You can read all about how to do this through the Protected Items Wiki page. Another page contains a basic ProtectedItems.xml contents to get you started. cheers, CJ
lol i will not let me post the code here for some reason. http://www.thebuddyforum.com/mediawiki/index.php?title=Farming_Starter_Profile that's the best place to start, just copy paste the <sell> parts and change the true and falses as needed.
