I am just curious, looking at this forum makes me a little nervous as a Honorbuddy user. I just want to be prepared if one day I get banned. For those of you who were banned and got it appealed I ask you:

-What is the appeal process like?
-Do you write personal emails back and forth to blizz representatives? If so, what did you tell them? The truth? Lies?

Sorry if this post does not really belong in this "Ban Section" of the Honorbuddy Forums.

      Thanks everyone.

Thank you for the reply. So you just simply replied to the very email that informed you that you were banned? Apologized for actions and they appealed? That's reasonable.

I got banned. Rang up Blizzard made up some sob story that my mouse has a autoclick function and I accidentally pressed on it instead of pressing my macro bounded on mouse to log off.
      Unbanned.

My experience with the appeal .
My account gets banned. I open a ticket . After 20 minutes I get an answer saying it was the right decision and that they don't want to talk about it further. All further tickets get canceled /ignored . :D . Not Kidding!

you'll get an email saying you got banned and near the bottom it says you can appeal. follow instructions, write a little story, and hopefully get 72hr ban.

Thanks for the reply. When you say "little story" does that mean a Lie necessarily or you can just sob it up and apologize?

Pretty easy to appeal and get it down to suspension at the very least. You can either lie outright and say you don't bot, or vaguely admit some fault but say you weren't aware it was wrong and please give you a second chance (better option imo).
