hey guys, i recently started to lvl my rogue from 1 to 40 and its been like a week now botting for like 6-7 hrs a day (babysitting) it still attacks between hotspots even tho i dont have that checked. my hunter was doing atleast 6 lvls a day and now it takes 1 day for 1 lvl on my rogue... both have the same looms...does anyone know how to speed up the process?? kind regards also im in a zone where the mobs are 6 lvls below me..
its a little slower than i remember but was back in cata days when it used to feel fast for me seems theres alot of stops here and there and lots of staying in older zones with lvling gear probs just me dumb and not set up properly a good way to get some nice xp in between is running pet battles good xp think 1 battle = 1 quest fastest way from 85-90 aswell it seems for me that is
Hmm... Something is odd with your lvling progress. Try my way: Make a folder for honorbuddy: Make supfolders - i have: - Going up - Hitting - Flying In the folder going up, i have a honorbuddy installment only for lvling. Nothing unintended is installed. Fast restarts and setups. In hitting i have a hb for tyrael and custom cc (pvp/pve). Flying is my farming hb. OR you could just try a clean install and some heirlooms
lots of addons or plugins can really slow down your leveling process, after I did some optimizing and tried to turn most of my plugins into an event based instead of Pulse I found the profiles were loading 6x faster
If you have it set to not attack mobs while traveling, your CC may be to blame. Using singular or custom? If you're questing in the wrong area, trying stopping the bot and restarting it. Or moving to the new area and starting it there. Or if you're using new or different profiles, check to make sure it won't ignore level checkpoints.
i dont know what you mean by ''your cc may be to blame'' can you please elaborate, aswell as singular or custom?
Sorry, I forget that CCs are called routines these days. Like TuanHa combat routines or the all-in-one Singular included as the default in HB.
You didn't modify the profile in any way? Have you tried what I suggested earlier about stopping (not pausing) and restarting it? Or manually moving to a new zone?
If your using herilooms it goes pretty fast but from what i heard rogue is the slowest and buggiest of all the toons to level s i just have a problem with it crashing alot and my computer keeps going in to deep sleep mode while playing which has something to do with my windows 8 config
3 days?? What am I doing wrong lol my rouge and hunter both took 2 1/2 weeks and I'm working on week 2 on my warrior lol 85
Don't forget that "/played" is the total time played by that character and not the amount of hours/day as I doubt he would let a toon doing quests for 3 days in a row. Also keep in mind that there is a lot of things that will play a role here, like for example: - character being on a level 25 guild As you know guild have many perks which greatly help on leveling, such as exp bonus, mount speed, etc... - class and pet Some classes do have advantage over other and classes that have tanking pet will have a better survivability overall but that does not mean those are the best, for instance druids are pretty nice from a lot of toon I leveled from 1 to 15 testing things out druids were the fastest ones. - heirloom Not only the increase boost in overall stats but also the extra exp it gives - RaF 300% bonus exp guess it needs no explanation right? - if you were promptly to fix the bot on places it usually stuck Yep this does count, while most of it goes smoothly most of the time, some times you do get some problems while leveling which may stuck your character doing the same thing or just standing until you perform an action to put him back on track, I for instance have reported lots of quests issues to kick's and they fixed it really fast. So keep an eye to things you see as an issue, take a copy of your log file and make sure to post it at the right place as it will also help yourself on the future if you ever have or plan to level more characters. - if you were using aRelog or HBRelog Those 2 features allow you to automatically log in an account and specific character into wow, they will also select the predefine combat routine you ask it to, the botbase(for instance questing) and the profile it should use. HBRelog in particular will also watch for when HB is not responding and restart it automatically which helps a lot, also if per chance your wow closes or crash it will close and reopen everything. You can also set it up to log out after X minutes or change profile or change character and several other goodies. Keep in mind what I have mentioned here is just the tip of the ice and there are many other useful things to do but I am yet learning about HB so that is some of the things I've deemed useful, perhaps some other member will provide their insight on this matter.
In a level 25 guild, with heirlooms, it took me almost exactly 1 week to bot a warrior from 1 - 90 using kicks. I watched it most of the time, and I had to intervene a number of times daily because the bot would get stuck, or start doing stupid crap, or acting bottish around other players. Eventually it got there, though. From my experience with it, Kick's works great but definitely shouldn't be run AFK for large lengths of time.
This is easy to fix There is 2 ways, first way is to delete all your quests and stop and start the bot to let it compile. The other way is to delete your cache folder inside the honorbuddy folder. Be sure to close honorbuddy before doing this. If this ways doesn't work, try update your kick folders and try again
