Make sure u have loot mobs turned on when using GB or anything else. GM just told me there is a system that detects when u on loot the ore and not the mobs. Just a heads up

Wtf? That's dumb as fuck (excuse my language). That would produce so many false results, than positive ones. Stop spreading bullshit, or at least post some proof, i.e. logs or something. Go away.

I respect your name, of course, but such behaviour is not really mature, so not really appropriate here.

What would produce false positive? I believe you are not Blizzard developer, and you dont know have idea how the blizzard serverside flagging system works, to be able to assume such result?

Actually, many such "small" and "looking-non-informative" talks with the Blizzard Representative can be used as small parts of the big puzzle, named "serverside detection".

I would name just one: Similar fellow forum member shared his talk with GM, in which was mentioned, that if you dont wanna get flagged for botter after you finish your by hand daily farming herbs/ores, is enough to just queue and run a single scenario/LFR/LFD.

Fake or real, similar GM conversations contributes alot to this community!

So please, stop being ***, prevent people from doing it.

False positive would be not looting any of the mobs that come attack you.. go to YouTube, and watch those farmers that teach people on hourly videos how to farm ores/herbes. A lot of the times, they are not looting mobs, and they are still playing. Heck, I have been botting for 3 years now, and I don't even loot, and I'm fine on multiple accounts. I understand the example you gave, but to actually use the logic behind the OP's post is just plain stupid. Even LCP makes more sense than the post does. There is no way Blizzard would use it, it would produce way too many people who don't wanna loot, simply because they're farming, not collecting garbage loots from nearby mobs. There's no logic behind the ban process or a flag process for that.

Dont wanna flood the post here, but actually, try to see the forest, not focus on 1 tree.

I am pretty sure, that blizzard do use fairly complicated server side system to flag botting characters, so even such parameters like looting or not while gathering herbs would work for them, since they definitely use enough parameters to exclude the false positives out of the pool.
The parameter model of these parameters should be complicated enough, but I think they are definitely improving (On their side, indeed) after reading here recently some very odd ban reports.

For us, the only way is to see, examine all these small GM talks, adobt, and move on, because families have to be fed! :D

      P.S.:
No need to mention, we have quite a few reports here for persons banned for gathering herbs&ores by hand, while farming for the sole reason to buy a Honorbuddy key :D

Is that a paradox .. or not? :D The false positives always happen, less or more.

      Hey guys,

Just a quick question that i really hope i can get an answer to, i also got banned for 72 hours due to using HB (farming exotic leather). I also used the bot to level up 2 characters from 85-90. Question is: will blizzard relog my account and take my gold that i made from selling the leather i farmed through the bot, and kick the 2 characters back to lvl 85?

Thanks in advance for the help guys, much appreciated.

You are not guilty, because you never commited to crime, actually. You did break in their company's therms of use, so you got actioned, appropriate or not, only this.
