Guys I wanted to say hi, but ask for some help. The Kicks profile appears to be the only lvling profile - I am Empire - However, I am sorry to say, it doesnt work very well. You have to babysit the bot it seems so you might as well just be playing it - it doesnt use a mount, its glitchy and appears to stop and run and stop and run constantly, but most of all if the quest requires you to loot a body to pick up a quest item - it doesnt loot the body. Whats more it doesnt loot in general; greens, etc. Does anyone have a better bot for leveling as empire, because Kicks is not very good. Its very glitchy. However, if this is just me than please tell me what I should be doing differently. Maybe its due to its interaction with my routine. I am using Waltz Routine. Maybe its just those conflicting with one another - I will admit that I might need to change some settings. I await your responses as I admit my knowledge is limited. Thanks a ton, Chris
if you want to level, use Joes. Profiles needs some editing, but most should work. looting is discussed lately, see support. mounting works with Joes, Walters and (un)Pure doesnt stop - run - stop - run is maybe to weak pc, connection, or just mesh. If you want to level via empire, Cataclysm is editing Imp files.
Absolutely not an issue with my computer as i have a top of the line computer; video card and tge newest i7 on the market. I tried out Joes and it appears to do the samething. I dont understand meshes. If its a mesh problem how do i resolve it. Also, wouldnt this be an issue with kicks profile rather than the routine?
mesh you cant resolve yourself. Top of the line... ok, how many mem you got? Are you doing other stuff during botting? Joes you have to edit to use mounting (read the info!!!!)
Its not a computer issue ~ I have 2 gig on the video card and 16 gig on board memory ~ the game is not lagging; no issues with fps and I have it in low settings. The issue us either with the profile (kicks) or the routine (Walt's). Also, Walt's seems a lot better than joes so I don't understand how that is a better option, as they both stop my toon every time they change direction. Also, Walt's has a better attack rotation. Thanks for trying to respond. I really do appreciate it but its definetely not an issue with my computer. Its undoubtedly an issue with the profile ; routine or both and most likely some settings need to be changed. Basically, I have to babysit it. I hear people saying that they lvled up a bunch of toons but I don't see how. For instance if I have to loot an item it will just farm the area and never leave because it won't pick anything up. I understand that joes does, but joes is even more glitchy or so it appears. I admit it is likely a setting issue; however it seems more likely its an issue with kicks. Can you please provide me with a better profile for empire leveling than kicks. Pretty please with sugar on top.
Dumb question: is auto-loot enabled in your SWTOR settings? I just spent tons of time helping someone else, before realizing that this was their issue. It's not enabled by default.
@ALLTRUEIST - Thanks a ton - yah it was the settings - I had the three plugins. It still stops sometimes when he is inside of a building - but its not as much - its definitely smoother and yes it is looting - it wasnt using mission items, but is looting at least now. Now, I just need to figure out how to get the mount to work. Thanks a lot buddy.
Delete Autoequip and Lockboxes plugins for sure. They always fuck stuff up. I'm not sure what your 3rd plugin is, but it's probably fine.
Hey buddy; you said to read about how to enable the mount. I assume you are talking about the first page on the thread relating to JOES Routine. I realize that, but the problem is the option for auto detect of the mount is greyed out in the bot gui and also when you type in the name of the Mount in the text box - nothing happens. Does anyone know how to enable the mount with Joes?
Ah well if you dont use it then I guess I dont really need it. Ill just leave all of my plugins deleted, just to be safe. Thanks. I am still trying to find out how to use a mount. Please read my previous post - I was hoping you could help me enable it.
Well then you apparently didnt read, again... Code: Customization Edit the file Drive:\BuddyWing\Routines\Joes\Helpers\MercHelpers .cs - If you don't have C# installed, you can simply edit it in Notepad or Wordpad, and then rerun the bot. When saving (outside of C#), be sure the file is in UNICODE character-format (as text). Customizable Variables (These are found at the top of MercHelpers.cs) EnableMount - Default - false - Set to true if you wish to use a mount. EnableRocketboost - Default - false - Set to true if you wish to use the Legacy Ability, Rocket Boost. chMount - Default - 'X' - Set this to the upper-case-equivalent for what you have aliased in SWTOR. an 'x' in SWTOR, translates to 'X' in MercHelpers.cs, for example. chRocketBoost - Default - 'Y' - Rocket Boost, same setup as with Mount. MountCheckFreq - Default - 15 - if a mount has been enabled via EnableMount, this is the frequency in seconds for a mount attempt, out-of-combat. FYI this will be my last reply to your questions...
