The DungeonBuddy + RAF thread!

Hi everyone,

I have heard a few people are getting banned using DungeonBuddy with RAF from just leveling and I would like to collect a few more information on the case before I decide on weather or not to use it and hopefully this might be useful to others or even the author to improve the botbase perhaps.

If you can kindly reply with:

• Amount of uninterrupted played time using it? Example: 2 days in a roll
• Amount of accounts BOT in group? Example: 5 accounts (full group) or 2 account + random players
• Have you upgraded it to MoP or just kept at BChest until 85?
• Have you kept them farming dungeons after reaching 85 or 90? Like either farming a specific dungeon for gold or just random dungeons for JP/Valor
• Was it doing or trying to do any quests during the process?
• Where you in a guild not your own or in your own guild but does it have any other public users?

If you happen to know any other interesting question that should be updated to this report let me know.

i boted 2 accounts one using dungeonbuddy (healer) and lazyraider (tank) to 85 in under 16 hours

things to note about dungeonbuddy, it's realy not that hard to tell who is botting and who is not. Even more so in dungeons that have short cuts as the bots take the long way around.

 

Were any of those accounts banned? If you could kindly answer all the question it would be more beneficial.

 

i have never had an account banned no mater what i botted

 

I've botted groups of 5 RAF battlechest accounts using the cheap upgrade links to 85 four times in the last six or so months both on US and EU servers and haven't been banned for it yet. I run them about 12 - 14 hours a day the same as I do for most bot accounts

I got banned for dungeonbuddy, although as it turns out, I'm a slow leveler. It took me about 36 hours to reach 85, it was full afk run, probably went on a little more after 85. Anyway those accounts got banned shorty after reaching 85

 

How many accounts running together? Any random users along with your bots? kindly check the other questions I have posted on the main question so I can understand better how you got banned.

 

Prixone, the last Dungeonbuddy experience for me from the US servers (Sadly, it is like 6months old or so):

Setup with 5x Digital upgrades from the 5$ link, all botted to 85 in 3 days, with several brakes: In the day one around 6 hours played, then increased to 12h/day.
Once all touched 85, ran 1-600 skilling for herb+mining on 4 of them, 2x of them with the post to AH option, 2x without it.

The next day, these 2x, which feed the AH with lowlvl herb/mining mats got perma banned - obvious autoban, not manual, which got overtuned to 72h after appeal! The rest were safe, and gathered for several months, till I moved to the EU scene!

Nowadays some info from EU: 5x DB setup again, tank+healer+3 rogues hit 85 in 3 days again, using the similar timeschedule, no problems!

The tank+healer and the three rogues got upgraded and leveled 85-90 with Kick's profiles, 2x rogues dinged in 3 days with 6-8hours/day played, the last one didnt make it, got permaed in the half past 89.

But that one have used Botanist Heavy Junkbox profile in Isle of Quel'danas for 3 days, once it dinged 85, so I must assume it have collected some bot reports from the other rogues on the isle, since its on a heavy populated CRZ in EU: Outland/Kazzak one.

Don't see any problems on collecting data to see why most people got banned using it and what so ever so you don't get banned as soon as you hit 85. And even if I wanted to BOT right now I can't as I am waiting for a new cooler for my CPU which my previous H100 was malfunctioning and sent to maint.

But hey everyone is entitled to their own opinion, keep it up.

 

Just lost 25 Dungeonbuddy accounts.
15 were 90s farming heroics, 10 were lvl 50ish leveling up.

They are *****ing down on dungeonbuddy, not really sure how they are doing it atm though.

If you are wondering what type of GPH you can expect from ilvl 520ish toons farming heroics, its roughly around 250-275gph. Selling everything, AHing nothing.

 

Now your all making me nervous lol well I started a 5 man RAF team and having been botting dungeons with out any hicckup so far. I NEVER and I say NEVER do it when im not at the screen to watch what is going on. It has been 1 day 12hrs played time to 78 but that has been over 6 days as I only run it while at the pc running LFR on my main etc. Obviously I hope for my wallets sake there not going to be banned but I have a funny feeling people run them 12-16hrs a day everyday to level them up as fast as possible then wonder why they get banned.

This is my first group but why should it be any different from anything else you bot? Run them when you are next to the pc taking breaks and at different times of the day like a real player just my two cents worth. Im happy as I have spent the investment to keep you posted on there travels as once they are 90 I want to do a 2nd group for some multiboxing fun

 

I have botted about 50 or so accounts via dungeonbuddy. So about 10 dungeon groups total. I have NEVER recieved a ban from leveling (US servers). Maybe I'm just lucky. I also run them 24 hours a day, they dont stop until they hit 85. All accounts are fine and unflagged, never receiving a ban from this method.

Another set just hit 85 today.

 

Yeah maybe it was just bad luck. I dont know, but 16h a day dungeonbuddy is a ban fairly fast (3-4 days).
But the questing profiles 1-15 is probably more dangerous than Dungeonbuddy lol. My tip to level 1-15, stay the fuck away from The Barrens.

 

i got banned once doing dungeonbuddy + raf lost 10 accounts to it. (2 dif pcs)
playtime was 60h (takes me 60h from 1-85) they didnt run for 12h after reaching 85, then they got banned. botting was done with no breaks (as always).
full groups of 5
just bchest
stopped dungeons right after reaching 85
it was doing the dungeonquests
6 were in random guilds, 4 were not in a guild

a friend of mine had the samething happen, everything the same as me (except playtime was 80h to reach 85)

after this i leveld another 30 accounts to 85 with dungeons, none of these got banned

 

Well no human plays 60 hours straight with no breaks, 24 hours may seem acceptable or even 36 but 60 and 80 that's a lot of time of non stop playing

 

that is certainly true, but till those bans (2 weeks ago) i leveld about 200 characters this way, and none ever got banned for raf + dungeonbuddy
i dont think its the 24/7, because the accounts i got after that been running 24/7 for 2 weeks now (3 days dungeons, after that my own profile) and they are still fine

 

I guess that depends until the ban did u level those 200* accounts all using the same hardware, ip and so on or you changed those all the time you set a new account on it? Were you using virtual machines or all on the same host computer? There is a lot of questions to it specially given the amount of accounts you did level something might have triggered it.
