So I was selling 70k for 1.8 EUR/k so 126 and the guy i sold it to took the gold and gave me the money over payapl and went off skype.
30mins later I saw that paypal gave the money back to the buyer because he claimed that the Item was not sent? What can I do in a case like that? I have no evidence except for the skype konversation.

say good bye to gold and bybye money~

paypal dont provide any protection for gold selling. This is the 2nd time i saw this kinda issue posted in HB forum.

learn from mistake and grow strong again~ sell to OffGamers if you want no trouble, it works for me...

Happened to me and in the long run I never got the money plus I had to pay $25 in refund costs to the guys credit card company. It was billed to my account automatically.

This stuff about Paypal has been going on for years now, disputes filed and WHAM there goes your money.

      That's why I use Moneybookers.

Yeah, if you send money over Paypal as a Gift, they can't take it back.

Yep. They need to send as gift always. There is nothing you can do otherwise.

I only sell my gold through player auctions. Sure I have to pay them a small fee for the sale, but at least I know I wont get my money taken back.

Maybe contact blizzard and say you were hacked? idk

I used paypal when I sold gold (Back in the glider days), always, always, always have it sent as a gift. Paypal won't let them take gifts back.

How much do you make on PA, after fees? I was diong it for EQ2 but got banned on there when I bought a bot account, it didnt have epic flying so I gave the guy a negative mark.. then he PM'd me saying he'd give me 5kg for epic flying if I email and remove the negative feedback.. APPARENTLY that is considered "offsite trading" even though the fucking auction said it had epic flying, seemed pretty legit to me, but they told me to pay them 450 or banned it..

I since then have switched from verizon to roadrunner so I assume I have a different IP.. so I was thinking of setting up a whole new paypal, email, and PA account but after the first 5 transactions it seeemed pretty shitty how much they took for their "cut".. considering they claim the cut is for their services, the assholes should have seen that the account didnt have epic flying if i'm paying them..

I might consider selling on PA, I was just wondering what it comes out to after they take their cut, it really did piss me off that I'd make more from pusada and not have to wait 2-3 business days, but never hurt to get the extra demand.

Is Aid=297044 your affiliate link? I would remove that if I were you.

      yupe , my affiliates,

nothing in the Forum Rules say i cant provide link to my affiliates..

also, it says "anything not in the rules subject to Mod/admin's jurisdiction," ... i will stop link to the affiliates if i got message from mods/admins...

after all, i'm not spam bot doing advertising only... the link just as a part of me sharing my personal experience while earning some very-tiny-side-income...

      *on topic*
paypal dont cover for intangible products, so definitely a loss in this case.

i heard sending payment as gift wont allow you to reverse the transaction, but i'm no paypal expert, dont take my words for it.

You can also record video of your desktop for the convo/transaction as proof and screw over who ever tries it next

Where can I find more information on this.
Are there any fees with gifting? I skimmed a few sites and they said the buyer or seller has a gifting fee?

Also to the OP "Digital delivery of an intangible World of Warcraft item - By accepting buyer waives PayPal buyer protection policy." I have been using that for the last 4 months and have never had a claim, unless my buyers are nice people ;)

Welcome to the wonderful world of scampal. I would never use paypal for anything unless you know the person your selling to and there not going to recall the money.
