Hi, Dutamulia, This must be the first toon on a new account, and the toon is a Druid. If this is the case, then you are being bitten by a bug in the MountHook quest behavior. This problem, and what can be done about it, is discussed in the Known Bugs List: Miscellaneous (Rep, Seasonal, etc). cheers, chinajade
Hi, Ordell, This is not a problem with the profile pack, but with Honorbuddy. If the problem continues, please make a new thread in the Support forum describing the problem, and attach the full log that captures the issue. Ref: [Guide] How to attach your log Tell them to bring that thread to my attention, and we'll see if we can get it in front of the development staff. But, only if the full log is attached. We don't submit bug reports without full logs. cheers, chinajade
Hi, Zayedx, We've already got this problem listed in the Known Bugs List: Cata 80-85. For now, just do the quest manually, please. cheers, chinajade
Hi, ExtremMuffing, The Questing bot and this profile pack are working just fine. The problem is obviously something wrong with your Honorbuddy installation. You might try a "clean install". Instructions here: Honorbuddy:HelpDesk:"Clean installing" Honorbuddy If you are not off-and-away after, we must see your full log attached in order to provide further assistance Ref: [Guide] How to attach your log cheers, chinajade
Hi, Tigerlady3012, and many thanks for the log. Alas, there is not much the profile can do to help this. The profile is not running while the toon is in combat, and there is no way for the profile to communicate with the Combat Routine as to what needs to happen. To solve this particular quest reliably would require writing a Quest Behavior, and that's still no guarantee, because quest behaviors have no way to communicate with Combat Routines either. For now, this quest may have to be done by hand if you are over-level or over-geared. cheers, chinajade Ref: Tigerlady3012's problem report w/log // KIck - modded Beat Mob behavior possibility
Hi, Hackersrage, The KillBetweenHotspots is only in effect when grinding. It does not affect normal quest pickups, turnins, objectives, and custom behaviors. Most of the time users complain about this, they have configured Loot Radius to something absurdly large (i.e., > 50). cheers, chinajade
Hi, Nexdeus, Hackersrage has done a very good job at answering your question. This question is also answered in the FAQ. cheers, chinajade
Hi, I love this Profile Pack that you guys have worked so hard at doing for everyone. How ever recently I have encountered some issues, the issue that I seem to be getting is the Bot nearly ever half an hour the Current Quest that the Bot is doing will not load properly, its like the Bot does not recognize that it is there to pick up or hand in, it just keeps opening the Quest giver and closing, I am having to Manually do the quest that it is currently doing, then it will work fine for the next half hour or until I gets stuck doing the same thing, and it is only ever since the Recent Patch they did to HB and I am finding that the Bot just runs to where it thinks there is a quest even though there is not another quest there for it to get and in turn it just stops, upon stopping and restarting the Bot it does exactly the same thing. (I can not attach a log as there is no log to attach, it doesn't come up with anything for me to show you what is going on) I have reinstalled HB and Updated all your profiles Via SVN and still no joy, is there anyway you could assist me in fixing my issue? I got my Mage from 73-90 about 2 weeks ago and not one single glitch but now I am trying to get my Lock to 90 I am encountering all sorts of problems and only since they patched HB a couple of days ago, Currently my Lock is 85, I went from 31-85 with very few glitches in the system but now it is 85 I have got 40% exp from quests in 9 hours the bot has been running, due to stopping then shutting down. Any assistance you can offer I am more than will to try. cheers Maddogdebnam
Hi, Dayloon, and thank you much! We believe the problem has been corrected in v3313. cheers, chinajade Ref: Dayloon's problem report w/log
Hi, Maddogdebnam, This is obviously a problem with your Honorbuddy installation. You might follow the steps described in the articles for "clean installing" and "clearing the cache". Honorbuddy:HelpDesk:"Clean installing" HonorbuddyHelpDesk: Cache corruption problems If this does not solve your problem, you simply must show us the full log, if you expect any further assistance. For those of you wanting to change the sell / mail / elite targeting / grind between hotspots features in these profiles in bulk (since Kick has written so many), you can use this tool here > https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/honorbuddy-profiles/167782-app-profilefixer.html I am also working on adding some more features to make creating/editing quest profiles easier. @Kick - If you use this to edit your profiles, currently it will allow you to toggle vendors/etc but not add anything new to the listviews (working on this for next release). The main feature for you right now would be the QuestOrder section is split out into it's own IDE. Individual Quest objective editing is partially completed at this point. Please check it out and give some feedback (good or bad) on the thread.
I wish it was that simple. In my case, Loot Radius is the default, yet the bot will kill everything on it's merry way from one zone to another which makes it take literally hours of walking as it stops to kill literally everything in sight. There are a couple of issues with this >> The users setting is completely overwritten (aka, the state of the checkbox is not remembered, and is instead replaced by this value from the profile). If the profile is stopped, and the users value was false, and the profile last flagged it to be true, the new user setting is true -- global setting. GrindArea works perfectly with hotspots alone and kill X attributes for Quests. It does not need to be flagged to KillBetweenHotspots as this will happen for X faction stuff anyway (and of course anything else that attacks the player in the process) Forcing this setting on allows for other players to pull mobs close to you, and essentially have you follow a breadcrumb of mobs, and thus leading to bot detection. I noticed this happen and was able to intervene in HFP. While building my editor ( ProfileFixer ), I noticed that several scripts have this flag set to true when walking to the next quest giver (distance undetermined from simply looking at the coords). In game play, I did notice this occurring quite a bit in larger zones where the QP's were further apart. In any case, the editor I wrote will allow people to make these adjustments quickly to their taste, such as Selling/Mailing options, whether or not they want to grind between hotspots, and if they really wish to avoid elites or not. Just keep up the work with the profiles and no longer need to pay any attention to those features. I originally wrote the tool as it's quite annoying and cumbersome to go through every profile to ensure the mail/vendor settings don't junk things that I may wish to keep -- without having to add every single item to the global protecteditems file. It can be frusterating when a recipe or companion, or cool trinket gets vendored and an hour goes by before you decide to stop the bot and go check or the item isn't in the last 10-12 items vendored. This is why I have been requesting for these settings to be globalized (aka, load from a general XML file), or to at least standardize the formatting/indenting by ensuring that all settings are in place, same case, and same indenting applied. -- again .... no longer need to do this since my editor works to correct this. It doesn't add missing tags in the bulk edit yet, but it does when opening the files in the general editor.
I'm having trouble with all 5 of my bots that are DK's. When doing the quest " The Plaguebringer's Request" Its sapposed to kill crusader's and collect their skulls. Instead it goes inside a building and just stands in that exact same spot on all bots. It does not go around killing crusader's and looting their skulls. It does kill SOME crusader's up to the point that it goes inside that building and just stands there. Doesnt loot them tho. Also just skips alot even tho they are attacking me. I dont know wtf is going wrong. edit: I'm updating HB and then trying again, then if still no luck, ill upload log file. edit: No luck, even with latest HB, still same problem. Issue is with DK Starting area profile. Uploading log. This is quite an annoying part to be stuck in when you have 5x DK's and have to kill crusaders xalot just to get the skulls, and only ONE skull, its not shared so all can get that same loot.
Another Death Knight starting zone broken quest "An end to all things.... " Its mounted on the dragon and needs to go eat all the guy's or kill them with the dragon, but just doesnt do anything but hover in the 1 spot. Even stop/start doesnt fix. Doing this with all 5 bots and same issue. These quests were never broken in the past, why now? It looks like it mounts the dragon to start the quest, but thats it, stuck from then on.
Keeps trying to pick up a quest that isn't there Hi, ever since Tanaris it keeps trying to pick up a quest that isn't there, Tropical Paradise Beckons. I tried deleting the cache folder files to see if it would reset it so it could pick up from where I am but it didn't work. I stop it and try reloading it but it just keeps trying to start that quest (only on this toon) I've tried playing through a few levels till I got to silithis and tried again but it just jumped on a taxi and headed back to tanaris to try to pick up this quest. I must have done it at some point because the questgiver just says hello and my char just stands facing him. I think I must have picked the quest up to go to Ungoro crater from the warchiefs command board in Orgrimmer as it stops this quest from showing up apparently. You can see the comments on this thread. http://www.wowhead.com/quest=24911/t...radise-beckons View attachment 3684 2014-06-07 12.19.txt Here's one of the logs. Cheers
Is it possible to change when it goes to a new zone? Like now im lvl 75 and still doing Grizzly hills when i could be doing quests in Zuldrak.
Hi, Jazzman170, and thanks for the log! We know exactly which building your talking about. At one time, we thought this was an issue with the mesh. We'll see if we can get this looked into again, but its not a problem with the profile pack. cheers, chinajade Ref: Jazzman170's problem report w/log
Hi again, Jazzman170, and thanks for the log! [17:30:25.445 D] Could not generate path from {2364.417, -5771.316, 156.1582} to {1704.216, -5779.524, 179.5731} on map DeathKnightStart (time used: 310 milliseconds) @ FindEndPoly There were some recent changes made to Flightor that may be interfering with the quest behavior that does this quest. For now, please just do it manually. We've opened HB-931 ("AnEndToAllThings QB appears to have been damaged by Flightor changes") to have the issue investigated. cheers, chinajade Ref: Jazzman170's problem report w/log [UPDATE 28-Jun-2014 by chinajade]: The Flightor problem has been repaired, and should be available in the next (post-744) Honorbuddy release..
Hi, Paulswan21, and thanks for the log. Alas, this log doesn't appear to have captured the problem. Usually, the problem is caused by a corrupted cache. This article should help you resolve the problem: HelpDesk: Cache corruption problems If you're not off-and-away after this, please show us a fresh log, and after letting Honorbuddy try to resolve the problem for a couple of minutes. cheers, chinajade Ref: Paulswan21's original post w/log
