Hello, I have seen a closed post similar to mine and very recent. HP shutdown. I have tried the same thing the guy did, reinstalling HB, doesnt work. The difference is that when my HB shuts down, wow shuts down with it. Very strange. It has been working for a rly long while now with no issues. As i saw you suggested a log file, i have looked into it. I hope it helps. I rly need this.
check if you have any of those programs installed? https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/honorbuddy-guides/108771-help-desk-3.html#post1292171
not that i know of. HB worked perfectly this morning the problem occured at 20:30 today (my time gtm+2) and i have also checked for those programs and i have not installed anything today. I can provide a screenshot of Control Panel Programs if needed
yes i am logged in as admin on my pc, and no antivirus. just the one implemented in windows 8. But it did run until now just the same. i have no iddea what happened. the HB actualy pops up to login, it starts, and after it writes on the console "logging in" after that point it shuts down. Sometimes shuts down with wow together, sometimes just by itself.
It doesnt give me any logs when i try to re-enter. I took a printscreen tho and tried to upload it. if the picture is too big the HB states : Honorbuddy v2.5.10945.744 started. Logging in... T: 5247075470982787882 H: 2701521904 That was me being fast enough to take a printscreen before it shut down. (does not shut down along with wow anymore. its just HB now)
remove: - microsoft .net framework 4 client profile - microsoft .net framework 4 extended - microsoft .net framework 4.5.1 - microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable - microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable restart your pc, download the installationwizard from here run it as administrator. after the wizard is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++ restart
1 short question. I have looked into .net framework removal tool, found one, ran it, it shows i can remove / or i have only the options : Net framework 1.0 and 1.1 or remove all versions. Note: I run on windows 8.1
did skip the net framework part, uninstalled the x86 2010 and 2012 C++, restarted PC, ran the downloaded program as administrator, Command prompt showed up, installed the C++ versions , restarted the PC again entered wow, entered HB, logged in, and the exact same thing happens again. Note: I ran win 8.1 x64 i guess coz i have 32 GB of ram. (dont know if that was important to be mentioned)
no one said to use a removal tool. we wanted you to manually remove them. Go to Programs and Features, in your windows Control panel. Look for: - microsoft .net framework 4 client profile - microsoft .net framework 4 extended - microsoft .net framework 4.5.1 - microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable - microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable and Uninstall them if they are installed. Restart your PC. install this Installation Errors? Try BuddyDependency wizard and this Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1 (Web Installer) for Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008 SP2 Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and Windows Server 2012 from Official Microsoft Download Center run both as administrator. after the both installs are completed, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++ Then do one last restart.
1 Small issue here. U have stated before that if i have windows 8.1, i shouldn't uninstall net framework 4.5 because as i have stated previously, this program is missing from my control panel. (as in, i cannot uninstall it so i figured out i need a tool to uninstall it. downloaded that tool and it showed that i have no .NET framework exept from 1.0 and 1.1 if i remember well) So i did as i was previously instructed, Uninstalled : - microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable - microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable Shuted down my pc (because the restart now comes with instant update and i was instructed to update after i install the downloaded programs in the link you have provided) Started it up again, and Ran the NDP451- .net framework 4.5.1 installer that u have provided. This is what it tells me: "Your installation will not occur. See below for reasons why. Details The .NET Framework 4.5 and this update are already installed on your computer. Now i find this abit strange because there is no .NET framework at all in my control panel tab to uninstall. My question: How do i remove .NET Framework 4.5 and the others if i can not see it in control panel ?
I have the same problem as you zigzag! I have tried some diffrent things, also what you suggested CodenameG, nothing worked..
