Anyone else notice that it wont use Dark Iron Dwarf to attack? Woke up this morning and watched the bot, and it wasn't using a few cards to attack and had to manually step in to finish the game.
Works good, but the skipping happens a lot... I could've finished off the enemy hero within 2 rounds easily but the bot just kept skipping all the best units. Not sure where the fault is here, prolly not the AI, so you did a good job Still winning a lot with this, started out with a 5 win streak. Oh and, with a warlock the bot will sometimes suicide even though other cards are playable. Can you fix that?
i cant do anything against this skipping. @Lys0gen can you post a log of this suicide? (should only occour, if your enemy has lethal next turn)
Bot had lethal, would have won the game but instead of attacking the enemy's hero, my Yeti killed the enemy's Auctioneer Gadgetzan, and the hunter survived. I did win the next turn but what if that cost me the game? lol Lethal calculation needs a little work Awesome AI though, and thanks for the quick replies/updates obtkamer! http://i.imgur.com/2DAk3np.jpg It also sometimes takes too long to do his calculations and end up not attacking with all minions before the turn ends :/
Ya alot of skipping, although it still whoops the regular api, when thats fixed itll be pretty kickass
i dont think he missed the easy lethal, if you readed the whole thread, you would know, that the HrtBuddy api has some bugs. so please: no bugreports until hankerspace releases a new version. but i'm interested in the log where the calculation takes to long.
Just checked this section, wish I would have check it sooner for more custom API's. Does obtkamer have a paypal to donate to easily? That way he will keep updating for hearthbuddy. Edit: As of now we aren't using it till the base bot is fixed though right? I can't see this being better right now with the skips....
Not to say anything neg about the default ai but even with its problems silverfish ai does better and I would use it iver the normal
@killgogeta i cant find any strange stuff in your log ( only problem is, that the totem cant be placed where the ai wants him ) uploaded a new control-fix version, please test it
you may have copied the files to a wrong place? (it may cant find the carddb.txt -file) can you post a uai-log file?(see first post in this thread) Edit, fixed it, reload the files!
thanks a lot. i read the log and find that the bot cant find _carddb.txt file. i delete the whole bot/custom decks. redownload and try again. now, the bot cant find the silverfish, its didt show up in "custom decks". and i retry many time, it's drive me crazy now! plz help me, thanks a lot!!!
getting some compile errors and deck wont show up in HB. [Compiler Error] c:\Users\*****\Desktop\Hearthbuddy 0.2.411.82\CustomDecks\Silverfish\silverfish_controlHB_fix.cs(393,18) : error CS0101: The namespace 'SilverfishControl' already contains a definition for 'Silverfish' edit: theres a whole bunch of these and I just took a representative one. this was with a fresh download of the latest .82 bot and moving into the folder.
ah sorry, there is a small error in the fix-version. untill i have time to fix it (in few hours): either: - delete the silver_controlFix.cs file or open the file with an txt editor, search for namespace SilverfishControl and change it to namespace SilverfishControlFix save the file and it should compile.
Im currently getting stuck in a loop where it already attacks with a minion and then tries to again even with newly played minons. View attachment UltimateLogs.zip I also am using the control fix with namespace SilverfishControlFix
thanks! i deleted the silver_controlFix.cs file and its working perfectly now edit: opponent had a 1/1 and a 2/2 on the field, and the bot mortal coiled twice, first the 2/2 followed by the 1/1. just curious what the best move here is and what's the rule regarding mortal coil?
so it just played a bluegill warrior against a tauntless minionless enemy and didn't attack just ended turn. perhaps there's something odd with the AI regarding units with charge
