Not joking, I have a level 6 hunter right now that suddenly stopped questing (kick's profile) and I'm at loss at what to do next. And I used to be in a top 50 guild in wotlk...
I know how to play all my toons manually, so it wasn't too big a shock... Still was able to match HB DPS on my lock, match HB heals on my monk (Better actually, TuanHA Monk could use some improvements for MW monks ), Still killed a lot of people with my hunter in PvP, but how hard is that? Everything was fine, but I was mashing the buttons... Usually I only use HB to level up a toon, or do some stupid repetitive task that I don't wanna do, like searching for a rare pet... Or LFR I don't use it for mining or herbalism anymore, cause almost every ban you see is associated with GB2... What I find pretty funny here is... How many folks pay $15 a month to Blizzard, and for what? So Honorbuddy can play for you? It is fun to watch, I'll admit that. But if you're not gonna play, what's the point? To admire the million gold in your bank that HB farmed up and then do nothing with it? Sorry if it seems like I'm stepping on toes, I really don't mean to. I just think it seems a bit silly how many folks are content to pay $15 a month to let HB play their computer for them. LoL
Same here. Having leveled monk bu hand and now that I make my own CCs, I understand how the class works, when to use what and my DPS doesn't suffer much when HB is down. Maybe 10-15% less (probably due to movement).
i just use this time to gem up my main account and clear out banks, spend spirits of harmony and other fiddly bits.. you guys should really learn your class so you can configure your bots, you'll see an increase in performance
Definately true, the bots will take you so far but if you want to up dps then learning rotations and so on will let you optimize better.
Im guessing it would take less then 5 minutes to write a script that checks their logs, perhaps 5 minutes more to run said script. Not rocket science lol. Tho its quite funny to see how many bads need bot to raid lol. I hope you get kicked from your guilds Praying the bot is down until friday xD Personally i play all my chars to 95 procentile without bot, shit, bot cant even beat me and i've given up trying to get X CC author to make it work..

was just logged in and was invited to flex to "carry" on my 588 DK, i see the bot didnt work and claimed my keyboard was messing up, got beat by a 560 fury warr 300k DPS xD

I have to ask tho, the people using bot to raid heroic content they otherwise couldnt come close too... How do you handle longer downtimes, major patches, ptr/beta, raid testing, expos etc ? Mystically just dont log, fake injuries or what ?
I have my Main account for over 5years now and im doing pretty well without the bot. I mainly use HB for the offspecs of the classes that i recently leveled. Sad part is... i did manage to finish all my chores on classes which i do know how to play, leaving classes with which i bot for the end. I can say that im able to perform decently, just not as good as bot.
Not that the devs and me for writing this post should take advantage of your loss, but there are people like yourself that have a handicap or disability and the bot actually helps those people play the game. Good to see honorbuddy is helping you be better at wow
I use CRs to raid heroic content. It does it better than me, but not a huge difference. People in my raid wont notice if I use a CR or not. It's probably off by 20-40K dps. I just prefer using CRs so I dont have to smash keys edit: oh nvm, didnt read the last words of your first sentence sry
Im not a scrub, in fact, i just respecced from Blood to Unholy, so therefore i have no idea how to play it. I usually just run the bot if i can't be arsed to do it myself, but in main raid i play Blood and i play myself.

I thought that i would NEVER level a DK/Shaman as i personally dont like them, but due to the time that this patch is already live i finished pretty much all PvE content on my main chars, with my mains having HC/HC warforged gear for all three specs and my guild is on "farm mode" (as that so rare these days) in downtime i decided to level a DK/Shaman. I do know to play Frost/Enhance quite well as i leveled them and i had the time to research and learn spec mechanics, however for faster queues and more invites i recently switched to Blood/Resto and im in the process of learning them, process which takes time which is filled in by the HB. As i said in similar topic, i think of my self that i like WoW as a game, i had bad experience with it in the past during BC progression raiding era when i allowed WoW to become 70-80% of my life and ended up having serious health issues. On top of that i was shoot during robbery of my flat and lost ability to walk since bullet shattered one of my spinal rings. Doctors said that i wont be able to walk again. Saddens me to say it, and im saying it with a great shame, but that injury helped me restore back my life to normal. I didnt wanted to give up and end up in wheelchair young. It was painful, a LOT! and lot of times i just wanted to give up, reactivate my wow sub and leave it as it is, i missed my WoW drug and it looked as simple, pain free exit. Dont get me wrong, im a single normal guy, living alone, since im on extremely bad terms with my family, with semi normal earning so i didnt have money for some fancy treatments or stuff like that, i had to do it everything trough pain and persevere. Over the course of three years i manage to recover my senses in the legs and slowly learned to walk again. Now, im a tattoo artist (which was actually the reason why i got in the fight with my family, they didnt approved my choice of beccoming tattoo artist) with a normal life, i have friends, im playing basketball and i can run/walk again, i have hobbies and rest of the Up and Down stuff that life can bring you but wow is still a game that i love and play, far more for fun rather than being my life. That being said, i do know how to play my main classes and their offspecs, i just choose not to allow my self to maintain all of 7 alts and all their specs with BiS gear and stuff like that, i use HB for that while im learning/reading about those classes so i will be able to decide which one will be my main in WoD. However i do want to learn how to play them and how they function so im mostly editing all rotations that i use and removing all advanced stuff leaving just core rotation in them so i can focus on boss mechanic and slowly learn how to play those classes/specs. Im even interested in learning Lua and C for better understanding of rotations, so i can fix broken stuff and improve them where i can. Im posting small fixes to free rotations here and there so community can enjoy better and more bug free rotations.
