I recently chatted up my RL friend on the battle.net chat box and I accidently said "everythings working well with the bot" then I said that it was a joke because instantly thought I would get banned if they check chats, do you think my account has a red flag on it now?

i kinda understand where you're comming from, not knowing anything is probably.. not ideal..

but look at it from a logical perspective, would you seriously hire somebody to look through chat transcripts of people using the letters B,O,T in the same sentence :) ?
even with a program to filter it out.. it's alot easier to just /who Botanica and ban 100 people at once..

blizzard is a company, they want to make money.. if they wanted to.. they could implement tripwires daily.. and people would stop botting (most people would) but they'd lose customers = botters (mainly) = cash = the bosses holiday funds = no trip to Bahamas with his blonde wife with silicone implants and the kids.. = the kids aint happy, so they cry to their mom = the wife gets mad, because she doesn't get a tan.. = the boss gets angry = tells a dude to fire some dudes = gm ends up with the pain in the ass.. = he just let the majority of the people go.. and set examples with a few individuals..

bot safe, bot smart.. and you'll extend your time with the botting accounts, you can bot 24/7 and still be as safe as somebody starting up the bot for 5 min in sw/org...

Blizzard doesn't have the time/resources to read every whisper sent and the only time they'd ever read something is if someone reported you for verbal abuse and even then they'd only look at the whisper/say in question. That being said id refrain from mentioning it in game in possible unless it's someone you completely trust because there is a risk someone could report you if they know you bot.

glad to hear that everything is working well in the (B)astion(O)f(T)wilight :p

i also wispered a lot, in not so private teamspeaks we gave the bot a human name and say ... is ill or something like that. but as long as you won´t write it during the primetime in the generalchat on a high pop server and using the bot afterwards -> get reported by ppl and checked by a gm there shouldn´t be a problem ;)

Not a red flag, no. Maybe a blue or a yellow flag, but definitely not a red flag.

      Rainbow flag, definitely.

me & my friends refer bots as a Jaeger from Pacific Rim. "Mind and Machine connected"
