seems like alot of people are getting banned very quickly from using BGbuddy? are the Devs gonna make any changes? too dangerous to use atm.
Its hard to Fix in my limited view because a lot of reports are from REALLY sensitive people that are just hoping to find a bot! so they are really on the look out for anything bottish to report you. While playing by hand I've had people yell out Report "insert my toon name" for botting and I had to defend myself and reassure him I wasn't a bot, he apologized and I continued Botting haa (little humor there) anyways I see a lot of people sick of mid fighting bots , maybe that's something that can be fixed but it really comes down to avoiding it for a while anyway.. they seem super sensitive to BG Botting right now
When 15+ people all mount up and spend 20-30 extra seconds standing there looking stupid instead of bursting out the door with everyone else it's kind of hard NOT to notice all the bots. Not just that, but as you said they go straight to mid while everyone else goes to docks or the hangars.
It's like this leveling, grinding, gathering, these things don't hurt anybody, but if you bot in pvp you are literally fucking with other people's TIME. The ban hammer will come down hard on you once you start VICTIMIZING other people. When the mob was just running gambling, prostitution, and bootlegging, the government didn't care and basically left the mob alone because these things were harmless. But when the mob started trafficking narcotics, that's when the big problem arises. Botting in pvp is like trafficking narcotics. All the pvp players will quit wow because of the bots and that's gona hurt blizzard's bank accounts.
