Hi i keep getting this error. I uninstalled the .net and c++ that you have told everyone else to do. I ran Buddywizard as an admin and downloaded any c++ / .net that was in windows update but i still keep getting it. And it's getting pretty annoying. Sometimes it works the first time i load HB after i redo the whole process but stops working shortly after. I have tried both the release and beta version of HB but none of them work. Question for anyone that have the same issue. Are you running Windows 7, 8 or 8.1? Since the problem is in the opening of a "browse window" and all the other buttons work fine.
As i expected the problem got solved when i decided to upgrade to Windows 8.1. Don't understand why it fixed the problem since its still the same .net and c++ as in w7. But yea it's fixed now!
usually, its because of .net issues, reinstalling windows would of fixed any framework issues you had.
