Huhu. since i am playing some 85 chars up, i am wondering what the best class for botting is? He should farm mobs etc. i dont know if mage or druide
Botting what ? A druid is like an all rounder, does not need to get out of flight form when gathering herbs, also flight form is an instant cast so hes not mounting up after gathering a node of ore, in addition its a healer/tank class so this comes in quite handy for example instance farming, I think a DK is also really good but you need another toon first to be able to create a DK in the first place. Then there are profiles for rouges only "pickpocketing" or farming big masses of mobs where high AOE is needed but also a little tankyness might come in handy. So it really depends on what you are planning to do with the toon ...
It hardly matters, I'd say any class with strong AOE and self sustainability. Obviously there are advantages here and there for certain areas.
I am pleased with my Blood DK. High survivability, mount speed increase and PoF is perfect for Fishing. Druids are good for Herbing and Mining because they don't have to break from Flight Form. Rogues are good for Skinning and Leatherworking. Since you are going to be farming mobs, a Druid should be better than a Mage because it's a Tanking class and tanks do better against mobs than a squishy Mage. Really, though, in the end of the day it doesn't matter much.
Back in the Glider days I always used Elemental shamans for farming motes and such. Worked out well. I agree with most here. I use Druid for Herb / * but most are herb/mine. I use DK for mine / skin because I want to be able to take on a ton of beasts at once. Hunters are great for grinding too. I'm starting another tomorrow. Looking forward to another hunter bot I've had poor results from locks and priests though mages seem to work well.
Anything that can heal is always nice, nothing more annoying then watching the bot just stand there like a tool waiting for HP.
Agreed. Druids make great farming toons. Though I am thinking of rolling a hunter this week on one of my accounts. Anyone using them, especially for skinning/LW? I know many are fans of rogues, but why one over the other?
I've found it much easier to bot with my warlock and hunter than other classes. The reason is the pet. My warrior or rogue will get squished on the timeless isle grind where the pet class is just fine.
i've got a hunter only for Skinning/LW, got it geared via. LFR and 2 flex runs.. so it's decent ilvl.. had better experiences with buying a arena boost at 90, so you can get the 550 ilvl bow - aslong as your weapon is OK, spec that shit beastmaster and run it 24/7 untill you stop it with 0 deaths great aoe dmg, good defensives.. and a pet to tank for ya..
That is what I am looking forward to, plus as WoD approaches being Bm spec seems to be most reliable with expansion. Do you use a dire whatever it is for pet or what have you found to be best pet for tanking while you rape NPCs?
no clue, i think one has a bear and another one has a tiger xD simply because i let my GF have too much leash, and she though it would be cute -_-' but they're both specced dire.. just spec it BM, get a 550 ilvl bow (or just raid finder tbh.) and go for it
I just started up a Hunter on my second account. Normally i would start a DK due to the increased mount speed and PoF, but wanted to try some new and I went with a Hunter. Havent really found out yet, how I want to bot it, can't decide if Iam gonna go with timeless isle shard farm, as Enchanter, or I should go with a skinner.
well ,it is a good psot ____________________ More Exciting Content Cheap Runescape Gold Waiting For You.
i've got a dk with enchanting on timeless isle, simply because i can gear it up with timeless gear and it can basically solo almost everything
