Does anybody know if one got banned recently only using a rotation helping botbase? i get the point in banning people for manipulating the server economy with massive supply of herbs, ore and other stuff... But for a rotation helper? i'm currently thinking of returning to Warlords of Draenor back in WoW, but the only fun i have in this game is playing superhuman-like with combat actions that are nearly impossible to do manually. Thanks for read and answers. Oops. please move thread to Discussion Section.
You can get banned for anything. However, i've reached 14/14 hc using Leaves and not got any bans, so the risk isn't too large
Well usually people that bot dont just use rotation and that i know have never seen anyone being banned for just using a rotation Botting you ll never be 100% safe but just using a combat routine is the closest thing you can do with a bot to being "safe"
yeah well, lately many got banned for using a 3rd party programm for rotation purpose, so i'm asking if the newest warden is a moron and tracks/flags everything
How is warden a moron for tracking/flagging rotation bots, thats still bannable and one of the things it is meant to do...
If you get a ban from using only a combat routine, then its 99% for sure its from a player reporting you for being "to perfect", wich basicly only happens in PvP (Insta interrupts etc) becouse who would report a great dps in a raid? That other 1% is if Blizz actually can catch us using a 3rd party software. With the warden update, HB is said to be "safe", but its never safe to bot. Some bots/botbases/routines are just safER than others. As long as a HBteam dev/mod says its fine to bot I will be using a combat routine.
buddy, as always: just be clever. when you act "super human like" you will get (especially in pvp) super-human reactions. you will earn some veneration, for sure. but in the same breath people will start flagging you, when they`re thinking you cheat them. just be that little bit better then the average and "all fine" (except from technical affairs)
A little curious about this one, have there ever been any reports of a ban through combat rotations outside of PVP?
i know about some reports from dungeons groups and flex raids. led this to a ban? dont know, but im sure some further investigations happend (for flagger and flagged ones, if blizz isnt stupid)
the last major ban wave killed PRQ. This was a combat bot and lots of people got hits. They do care about combat bots just as much as AH or leveling bots.
Sorry but PRQ risk was huge, it was a matter of time when it was going to get hit. HonorBuddy has a fail safe and a great one at that. They do not attack a type of botbase they usally attack the people using the bot to its max like 24/7 selling gold farming one item in the WHOLE of WoW Farming BG's in a place where HB sucks the most....
PQR was being used by everyone and their mothers, they needed to hit it and hit it hard which is exactly what they did. In PvP it's a risk because players were seeing first hand bots ruining their gaming experience, same with PQR due to the massive amount of people using it. Blizzard don't care about people botting as long as it isn't detrimental to other players. As long as botting remains in the minority, and I'm sure Blizzard have scared off enough people with PQR to make it so, Blizz don't care. They're getting their sub money from botters and legit players can't tell other people are botting. It's a win for Blizzard and a win for the legit players. It's also I guess for the botters, not that Blizzard cares.
