Got my account back after a 72hr and a perma ban. Here's how i did it.

These accounts all had WoD preordered. I recieved my 72hr ban and then my perma ban. After they banned me I sent in a ticket stating the usual that i did nothing wrong. I also said that if they decided the ban was permanent that they would have to give me a refund for my WoD preorder. They replied back with the usual response that their initial findings were correct and that the ban would stand. I replied back to them saying I was sorry that they couldnt read and that they didnt address my refund for WOD. I opened a paypal dispute, which has not completed yet, and I sent in another ticket explaining why they should give me a refund again. This is the response i got

I am so sorry about this.


What happened was that our automated system banned your accounts, and it ended up being a false positive. Though our automated systems catch many legit bad guys, they aren’t flawless, and I apologize that you had to go through this.


However, now your accounts are unlocked and you can play once more.

Now, obviously they have to give me a refund on a preorder. But I guess they thought they'd unban me first to see if this would cool my jets so they could keep my money. The fact of the matter is you can hold this over their head until November when the expansion launches. Maybe I just got lucky, or maybe I found a temporary loophole. I still have my paypal disputes open because I know I will just get banned again. Until then its 24/7 botting.

 

I have just been banned for 3 days, do you think it is worth disputing? I don't have WOD preordered atm

I am not sure because they have only picked up on this 1 character that i started 2 days ago. I could potentially say that i have just been no lifing the game to try ad hit 90 asap on my lock.

Or i could wait 3 days which i really hate doing because i only have 10 dfays left in my summer hols.

My main question is , has anyone ever had there ban increased to perma from appealing it?

 

Just tell them you're on a shared computer with your little brothers and you weren't aware of any possible third party software that could cause this.
